1MANAGING INNOVATION IN ORGANISATION Introduction The purpose of the research paper is to choose a type of innovation and discuss the important milestones for the innovations and how it has affected the business organization. Innovation in the modern meaning is the creation of new idea and implementation of creative thoughts and new imagination in the form of various types of device or methods. The term innovation is also known to be used in the application of various types of better solutions in order to meet the general requirement or else in order to gain advantage over the competitors in the industry.The innovations generally take place in an organization or in an industry through the provision of more effective products being introduced in the market. The technological innovation which will be discussed in the paper is an extended concept of the innovation. Whereas the term innovation is just a well defined concept. The term technological innovation has a broader meaning to most of the people. The term innovation refers to the extra steps of developing various type of strategies in developing new services and products in the new market place or in the public in order to fulfill the unaddressed needs of the past. Samsung has developed a new technological innovation in the market which embarks ina journey where importance of updated technology as a source of innovation is identified as a critical success factor for the business organizations. According to the authors (Lai and Jiang, 2017) the technological innovation has a better reflection in the business consideration of improving the business value so as by working on the` latest technological aspects which are yet to enter into the market. There are also various types of ne technological changes being made in the services and programs serve by the company or the organizations. The research paper will discuss the latest use of finger print sensors in the smart phones which is a great innovation in the

Discussion The discussion is to adopt the in screen fingerprint ID technology in the latest Samsung devices such as the Galaxy S10 and the S 10 5G. According to the authors (Yıldırım and Varol 2015), it has been seen that the use of the fingerprint n the smart phones were mostly utilized biometric method for unlocking the devices. Previously most of the smart phone brands used to provide the finger print sensor at the back panel of the devices. The people who had short palm used to face various kinds of problem when they tried to unlock their devices. But now days this problem has been solved by the most innovative smart phone brands in the world. Samsung has created their devices which has the finger print sensor at the screen of the device. The finger print will work only if the finger is placed on the screen of the device. This innovation is much convenient and everyone can reach it with their thumb only. But there is also a problem with this innovation that is now a day people prefer to use those devices which has a thin and large display rather than using thick phones Kim, Chung and Lee Samsung Electronics Co Ltd, 2019). Therefore the company will not be able to increase the width of the display for the finger print sensor. Developing a on screen finger print with the breezeless display was a technological and design challenge for the company.For this reason they had set various types of mile stones in order to implement the innovation in the devices. The company had manufactured the on screen fingerprintintheirsmartphonesbuttherewerevarioustypesofchallengessuchas understanding where to place the finger on the screen. Due to the failure of the on screen finger print in the S10 range of smart phones another major Chinese smart phone manufacturer which is One plus brought an innovation to the existing

The Chinese manufacturer with the help of the German technology designed the ultrasonic innovation of on screen finger print devices. Instead of the use of optical on screen finger prints in the Samsung devices One plus implemented ultrasonic technology in their premium smart phone which is One plus 7T (Castiglion, De Marsico and Mecca 2018). In the One Plus devices the company has implemented the new technological ultrasonic finger print sensors. The ultrasonic wave there is transmitted through the display where the ultrasonic pulses are known to capture the uniqueness of the finger print. According to the author Namjoon, Wonjun and Choi (2017) the ultrasonic methods of finger print sensor in the screen can result in faster recognition of the recognition of the finger. It will not be affected if there is huge amount of sunlight on the phone.The company has also come up with a latest technology of 2D replica of the finger print of the person. Each and every user’s finger print is known to be mapped in the 3D sensor f the device. In order to increase the security f the devices in the devices the company is also working on various types of machine learning algorithm which will help the device to detect the difference between the real fingers and the fake fingers (Gulo, Sohn and Afnan 2018). The innovation approach is known to allow the managers to respond to the external and internal opportunities of the business organization. They are known to use this creativity to introduce new management technologies. When implementing any new technology in the business product the corporate managers including the CEO of the organization and top level executives have to closely work with the new strategies which have to be formed. According to the authors Namjoon, Wonjun and Choi (2017) these are the only person in the management level responsible for managing the several business units. One Plus had to bring in the whole corporate all together in order to build a strategy and implement new technology to overtake Samsung. All the management, division management, business units heads and the project leaders, came together in order to acquire the competitive market. The management had to take instant decisions when implementing the plans (Boshra, Mrazek and Vieta, Apple Inc, 2017). The business unit and technological heads of the organization had to implement the design as soon as possible to the research and development unit of the company. The management had to have a bird’s eye view in order to see if everything was going on its way or not. The division manager had to work day and night in order to see if any problem was faced by the employees working for the change in the technology. The employees in the One Plus had to work very hard to increase the number of production of the phones in order to capture the market(Lin and Egis Technology Inc, 2017). The 3 future development of this type of innovation for the organizations based on the research are discussed over here. The company can use the finger print over screen to make various types of confidential online payment directly from the mobile phones. They can also develop the use of new features in the finger print such as gesture of finger print to get the music controller operations. In order to do so the company has to implement new technologies in their research and development institutions. The company will have work hard on these projects to get over the other competitors in the smart phone industry (Gulo, Sohn and Afnan 2018). Examples such as holding and pressing the finger for couple of seconds to get access to the Google search from the lock screen can also are implemented. This will help the users to get access to the
