While planning for a business, it is essential that all the organizations include an analysis of
the industry and the legal attributes related to the industry. Therefore, in the following essay,
the business plan of hairdressing and beauty care salon has been reviewed and the legal and
economic factors that can affect the business of the industry has also been included.

Description of the Salon:
Zenith is a start up by a bunch of college- goers, who have just finished studying, and
they are trying to open a hair and beauty salon, in an area near the Edinburgh at Canberra.
They are aiming to open an upscale full-service salon, which would include the following set
of services,
Skin Care: Regular and Acne- Reduction Facial, Antioxidant and Anti- Aging Facial, Wine
and Chocolate Facial, Glycolic Acid and Aromatherapy and Collagen Facial, De- tan and
Electric Current Facial.
Nails: Spa Manicure, Hot Oil manicure, Regular Manicure, Acrylic and French Manicure,
Shellac and Brazilian Wax Manicure, 3d Manicure and Nail Arts.
Hair: Hair Cuts, Hair Treatments, and Hair Mousse, Oil Treatment, Shampooing, 7 different
types of Spa, Bleaching and Hair Colour, Tight Hairstyles, Bumble Treatment.
These are the primary services that the Zenith beauty and personal care services are
offering primarily. The institution will be its services as per the demand of the consumers and
depending upon its success rates. The students, who are aiming for this start up, have the
needed degree and skill to undertake and provide all the services that have been mentioned
and also they have the experience of working at three different, most popular and most
acclaimed beauty salons previously.
Therefore, before opening up the salon, they want to review the legal regulations that
are followed and the economic factors that cam affect the business.
Legal Regulations:
The organization is essentially focusing upon the two legal regulations that all of the
service industries follow. Firstly, the organization will include the Commonwealth

Regulation. It is a regulation provided by the federal government of the country, and are
enacted by the state and territories of the country, and are separated in three sections. The
common wealth laws of the country, are consisted of all the legal and the jurisdictional laws
of the country, and are elected by the parliament (Thuronyi, and Brooks. 2016). Therefore,
the organization must include these laws in their orientation and must provide the proper
focus that are needed. The commonwealth rules include the rules and the legislations that are
guide all the state related affairs. These entail the basic guidelines for the states and the
territories, which include the code of behaviour, the codes of business conducts, and all the
basic governing laws that must be followed by all the states and the territories. Therefore, the
service organization, must include and follow all the laws and regulations that are
propounded by these constitutional laws. As the over- ruling any of the laws can pose the
organization in front of severe consequences (BRIGGS. 2016). Especially the organization
must follow the Statue laws that are included in the commonwealth laws. The statue laws
ensure that the management and the players are responsible under the warrants. The laws also
ensure that there should be a fair approach in all of the laws, and also, they must be moral,
promulgated and perpetual and should ensure autonomous, and unbiased deputies. Therefore,
the organization must consider all these aspects while dealing with a legal conduct, which
they are likely to come across while opening the outlet.
The organization should also understand the Competition and Consumer Act 2010,
which was also propounded by the federal system of the country. The legal rules highlight the
need for maintaining ethics within the business conducts and the competitive strategies. The
government of Australia, has rightly identified the needs to maintain within the market the
practice and maintenance of the ethicalities. The government of Australia and the Federal
department of the country has realised that the organizations often get involved onto illegal
acts and unethical activities while pursuing a business conduct, in order to maintain a
