INTRODUCTION
Managing project is the process by which the work is initialized, planned, executed,
controlled and closed by the team in order to achieve the specific goals and at the specified time,
specific criteria of success are met (Janda and Killip, 2013). In order to produce a unique
product, service or result a project is a temporary endeavour. TSK bearings Ltd is a company that
deals in the design and manufacturing of industrial bearings for automotive industry. In this
report, a new technology will be introduced by this company into a new manufacturing site in
UK. All the activities requisite to manage this new technology will be discussed in this report.
TASK-1
The type of projects
The projects are basically of 3 types they are as follows-:
Change driven – To match up the current environment a change is brought in the company.
Market driven – As per the requirements of the market the new product is being produced in that
response
Crisis driven – In order to response to the emergency circumstance they are being produced by
the company.
In this project thee market driven project is being introduced in order to deal with need of market
and customers(Lientz, 2012).
Scope management
In this, a set of processes are being defined and mapped. In order to fulfil the project, the
scope management techniques enable project manager to allocate resources. In this project, TSK
Bearings Limited will introduce a new technology that is mild hybrid. In order to introduce this
appropriate resource such as hardware, software, human resource etc will be allocated and also
the budget fort his will be around $ 12 million pounds and this project is being estimated to
complete in march 2018 In order to gain knowledge, and assist the implementation of new
technology the members of team will be given training for 12 months. Limited

Difference between Gantt chart and critical path
For a project management a Gantt chart is a tool which is used. In order to do the task,
the timings that is been needed is represented by Gantt chart. In this the visual representation of
time that is been taken by task is represented however in critical path the dependencies between
task is given (Kubba, 2010). The logical relationship is being displayed in a network diagram.
Before the project is finished the critical path, methods need to be finished. By using Gantt chart

If the project is being completed on the time that is on March 2018 then it can be considered as a

competition in UK the company TSK Bearings Limited is planning to planning to introduce a
new technology that is mild hybrid system in cars (Ilozor and Kelly, 2012).
Aims and objective
Aims – The aim of TSK Bearings Limited is to introduce a new technology in car that is mild
hybrid technology in order to face the global competition.
Objective -

Scope – The new technology mild hybrid technology that is been introduced by the company
will make use of electronic motor. In this the electric motor is a mild hybrid. All the grunt work
is being done by the piece of machinery in a mild hybrid. The electric motor in a mild hybrid acts
as power booster (Hallowell and Wehle, 2013). Through this a lot of fuel will be saved by
shutting the engine of gasoline when the vehicle is stopped, braking or cruising. With improve
efficient it helps gas engine motor to restart. The goals of this project are to deliver a new
technology at a budget of around $12 million pounds by the March 2018.In this the budget for
purchase and building of a manufacturing site is included. At this point of time the new
customers’ orders will be taken regarding mild hybrid technology in vehicles. For an example
this particular project must not cost more than $ 12 million pounds and must delivered by the
march 2018 .

People – In order to get this project done the human resources are needed. A group of people are
