INTRODUCTIONManaging project is the process by which the work is initialized, planned, executed,controlled and closed by the team in order to achieve the specific goals and at the specified time,specific criteria of success are met (Janda and Killip, 2013). In order to produce a uniqueproduct, service or result a project is a temporary endeavour. TSK bearings Ltd is a company thatdeals in the design and manufacturing of industrial bearings for automotive industry. In thisreport, a new technology will be introduced by this company into a new manufacturing site inUK. All the activities requisite to manage this new technology will be discussed in this report.TASK-1The type of projects The projects are basically of 3 types they are as follows-:Change driven – To match up the current environment a change is brought in the company.Market driven – As per the requirements of the market the new product is being produced in thatresponseCrisis driven – In order to response to the emergency circumstance they are being produced bythe company.In this project thee market driven project is being introduced in order to deal with need of marketand customers(Lientz, 2012).Scope management In this, a set of processes are being defined and mapped. In order to fulfil the project, thescope management techniques enable project manager to allocate resources. In this project, TSKBearings Limited will introduce a new technology that is mild hybrid. In order to introduce thisappropriate resource such as hardware, software, human resource etc will be allocated and alsothe budget fort his will be around $ 12 million pounds and this project is being estimated tocomplete in march 2018 In order to gain knowledge, and assist the implementation of newtechnology the members of team will be given training for 12 months. Difference between Gantt chart and critical path For a project management a Gantt chart is a tool which is used. In order to do the task,the timings that is been needed is represented by Gantt chart. In this the visual representation oftime that is been taken by task is represented however in critical path the dependencies betweentask is given (Kubba, 2010). The logical relationship is being displayed in a network diagram.Before the project is finished the critical path, methods need to be finished. By using Gantt chartthe progress Limited of project can be monitored and prioresses are being set accordion to it. Theneeds of the project can be easily seen by the project manager and team through Gantt chart.Gantt chart comes in the category of bar chart however critical chart comes in flow chartcategory.The success measures for the project If the project is being completed on the time that is on March 2018 then it can be considered as asuccessful project. If the quality of project is good and then it will be considered as a successfulproject. In order to analyse the whether the questions plans are being met or not a quality reviewcan be done. On a project cost management has been of the highest priorities. In this comparisoncan be done of the budget that is been estimated for this project that is $12 pound and the costthat is been spend on the project. The satisfaction of stakeholders also can be sued in order to seethe success of project (Rakos and et.al., 2015.).Managing a change in a project In order to manage the change in a project. Firstly, the objective of the change will bedefined. And then the strategy will be made and in order to achieve that can objective plan willbe made. In order to effect the change c project management group will be created. In order tomonitor a progress control process will be installed and by implementing these all four steps theproject will be managed. The change management process can also be used in order to bring achange. In this the information about change is received and planning can be done in order toassess the change. Or the assessment of the schedule, budget or scope, availability of resourcescan be done.Methods for Limited project evaluation, monitoring and control About the progress and impact of the project the judgement is been made in projectevaluation.
