INTRODUCTION
The concept of managing project can be used in order to initialize, plan, control and close
the work by the team that will help to achieve the specific goals and the specific criteria for
success will be met at a specific time (Hallowell and Wehle, 2013). A project is a temporary
endeavour in order to produce a unique and differentiated product, service or result. In the
designing and manufacturing of industrial bearings for automatic industry TSK bearings Ltd,
deal with. The report that is bee made will introduce a new technology for that company into a
new manufacturing site in UK. In this report all the activities that will be need to develop this
new technology will be discussed.
TASK-1
The type of projects
The project that is been done in this project that is in task-2 is manufacturing project. For
the cars a new technology is been developed by TSK bearings. The main objective of this new
technology that is blue motion technology is to gain competitive benefit from rival companies.
This project are been done in home or environment based pace. The management project are
other types of projects. The company makes such project when the promotion is need to be done
of the new technology. The project used by company is manufacturing project (Ilozor and Kelly,
2012). The projects are basically of 3 types they are as follows-:
Change driven – The current environment can be changed in the company to bring a chanage
Market driven –The new product is being produced as per the requirements of the market in that
response
Crisis driven –They are being produced by the company in order to response to the emergency
circumstance .
In this project thee market driven project is being introduced in order to deal with need of
market and customers(Lientz, 2012).
Scope management
A set of process are defined and mapped in this. The resources are been allocated by the
project manager in order to fulfil the techniques of scope management . A new technology that
is blue motion technology is been introduced by the company .The resources such as hardware,
software and materials, equipments etc are been disclosed for this project. The budget that is
been decided for this project is $12 million pounds and in march 2018 this project is estimated to

complete. The members will also be provided 12 months training in order to gain knowledge and
assist the implementation of new technology(Kubba, 2010) .All the work that need to be done in
order to make the project successful one is included in the scope management. The two
constraints in this project are time and cost based on the estimated time and cost the project need
to be completed.

Difference between Gantt chart and critical path
A tool that is been used for project management is Gantt chart. The timings that is been
needed to do the tasks of the project is been represented by Gantt chart. By task the time that is
been taken is presented in the form of visual presentation in Gantt chart. Between the task the
dependences is been presented in critical path. In a network digram a logical relation is been
shown. The critical paths methods need to be completed before the project is finished. The
progress of the project can be monitored through Gantt chart. Through Gantt chart the ends of
the project can be seen by project manager and project team. In the category of bar chart gantt
chart comes however the in the flow chart category critical chart comes. One of the benefits of
Gantt chat is the clarity. It is a tool which has the ability to boil done various tasks and timelines
in one single document (Rakos and et.al., 2015)..
The success measures for the project
The project will be considered as successful if it is been completed on the estimated time
that is on march 2018.In order to be a successful project the quality of the project will good that
means it should be without errors. The review of quality can be done in order to examine
whether plans of questions are met or not. The highest priority is been given to project cost
management In order to see the success of the project the satisfaction of stakeholder can be seen.
It is important to achieve the objectives of the project within the scope as if the objectives are not
achieved then the risk of project failure will be there. So, in order to make it a successful one it
need to be achieved. In this project the constraint are time and cost so within the estimated time
and cost it need to be completed (Lientz, 2012.)..
Managing a change in a project
The aims of the change will be defined in order to mange the change in a project. An
objective plans and strategy will make keeping in mind the goals of the change. A project
management groups will be created in order to bring change in a project. The analysation of the
budget, scope, or availability of resources can be done in order to bring a change. A risk is an
occurrence of unplanned event in the project. The cost risk can be there in this project when the
project is not completed on the estimated that is decided for this project. This can cause delay in
the project and may exceed the budget for the project. In order to manage this risk the budget
need to be constructed keeping in mind all the cost and resources that will be required for this
project.

Methods for project evaluation, monitoring and control
In project evaluation the judgement can be made about the progress and impact of the
project. In order to see that is there any change is needed in the project the monitoring and
control is done.
By monitoring the track of implementation process is been kept. The methods such as
informal reports, graphical presentation, project financial status reports can be used in
monitoring. The informal reports, project status reports, hand information, project progress field
etc are the methods that can be sued for project evaluation (Janda and Killip, 2013).
Project control cycle is discovered on statistical quality control and it is simple continual
improvement. The basic cybernetic theory is followed by this tool. The project managers need to
develop an environment in project management where any change to project plan is fed back as
information. This is depicted as project control cycle. Traditionally it involves these three high-
level processes that the management team needs to carry out throughout their project:
Setting standards
Measuring performance
Taking corrections
