INTRODUCTION
Managing the Project is explained as the process which involves initiating, planning,
executing, and many more to accomplish the goals within a specific period. It is necessary to
understand that in any of the projects the main goals of managers are to attain the objective (Dao
and et. al., 2016). In the context of the file, the chosen organization is Project- Xperts-20 (PX20).
The company has been involved in the business of construction and refurbishing. This fill will be
categorized into two parts where the first task will discuss the different characteristics of a
project, scope statement, specific project budget, Gantt Chart, and many more. In the second
task, the project plan will be prepared as per the requirement of the Sunderland London Campus.
Also, refurbish will be done in the library, the first floor to the third floor, lecture theaters, and
many more.
TASK 1
1) a. Key characteristics of any project
In any of the projects, their different characteristics, and are conducted for a specific purpose.
Below, some of the characteristics of the project has been discussed.
Any of the projects have a specific motive where the company and customers, both of
them gets certain benefits.
Any of the projects have a starting and ending date where they are short term in nature.
To conduct any of the projects there are certain requirements which are needed to be
fulfilled so that goals can be accomplished.
Every project is unique in itself where their requirements are different with amount of
investment is needed to be done as per the requirement of project (da Rocha, Kemmer,
and Meneses, 2016).
1)b. Briefly discuss the importance of integration management in Project Management setting.
In any of the project is necessary that all the work must be conducted in a systematic
manner so that goals can be accomplished. The importance of integration Management in Project
Management Setting is that it simply allows to manage as well as coordinate all of the necessary
activity which is required within the project cycle. In order to perform any of the task there are
certain requirements which is needed to be fulfilled such as providing proper information to each

of the stakeholder who is connected with the project and this can be done through integration
management.
2) a. Scope Statement for a project
In any of the projects, scope statement is important because it simply allows the reader to
identify that for what research has been condition. In addition, scope statement of project says
that how any of the researcher needed to act in any of the situation as allocation of roles and
responsibility with fund is done at initial stage.
b. Role does the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) have in such a statement
In the present scenario, whenever any of the projects are conducted, it is necessary to
understand that there are certain terms and conditions which is needed to be followed. Keeping
in mind, it is necessary to make clear that WBS has an important role within the project because
it simply allows us to identify the way to conduct any of the work (Görög, 2016). It is because it
focuses on dividing the work into several small parts within the help of a hierarchical tree
structure. It helps to identify how much work has been completed and what is the area which is
still needed to be covered.
3) Approaches exist to generate a budget for a specific project budget
There are mainly two different options available for any of the person when he or she
prepares the budget and they are two bottom approach and bottom up approach. It is among one
of those tools which have well developed for making effective plan and policies with their
starting and ending period. Both of this approach allows to make business decision which is
important in current scenario.
4. Identify any four types of project risks and outline various responses you would you to
overcome two of the risks you have identified within project management settings.
In any of the projects, there are different types of risks such as resources, technology, time,
and Loss of Support. These are the risk that can create issues but this can be easily resolved as
well. For example: To manage risk related to loss of support, proper safety equipment must be
provided to the entire team so that all of the work can be managed easily. Another one is time
