INTRODCTION Managing project is known as the process through which the work is initialized, planned,executed and controlled by the team on respect to accomplish success within the a given periodof time with meeting all the criteria. To prepare a unique products and services of results aproject which is temporary endeavour. The present report is based on the TSK beaning Ltd thatdeals in designs and manufacturing of industrial bearing for automotive industry. This report from this all the activities requisite for managing a new technology will be discussed TASK 1Various kinds of projectIn the task 2 all the projects are taken into consideration that are used in manufacturing project.The purpose of this project is that to develop a new technology for the cars which aremanufactured by the firm (Addis, 2012). However, the finished is built in respect to survive incompetitive market and gain competitive advantage. These types of projects are done in thefactory and home-based environment. While the other types of projects are known as themanagement projects. At the time when marketing plan is made by the company then it isimportant to make such types of projects. Scope management In scope management there are set of process which are defined and mapped. In respect to fulfilthe project with the use of scope management, project manager can easily allocate the resources.In this project, TSK Bearing limited can introduce new technology which is a mild hybrid(Griffith, Stephenson and Watson, 2014). There are different types of resources which is requiredto introduce such as software, hardware, human resources, financial resources etc required todistributed. Approximately $12 million pounds is the budget which is required for this projectand it need to be completed in 2018. Along with this, for developing knowledge and successfullyimplementing new technology all the team members will be provided training facility so thatthey can carry out project successfully. Difference between Gantt chart and critical path For the project management a Gantt chart is an effective tool which can be used for completingthe each and every activity on time. It shows the time required for completing each activity.Apart from this, Gantt charts shows the visual representation of the time which has been taken bythe task and critical path shows the dependencies between each task which is provided. In the2
network diagram it shows the logical relationship (Walker, 2015). Therefore, before finishing theproject it is important to finish the critical path. Gantt chart also used for showing the progress ofproject and it can be easily monitored and priorities of task can be set accordingly. Through theGantt chart it become easy for the project manager to see the needs of the projects (Griffith,Stephenson and Watson, 2014). Further it is considered in the category of bar charts and criticalcharts come in the flow charts category. The success measures for the project The project is required to complete on time successfully, for this purpose ti is important tomeasure the success for the project. The project is considered as a successful at the time when itsquality is approved. For analysing the project is appropriate and successful it is important toreview the quality (De Bruijn and Ten Heuvelhof, 2010). On the project management managingcost is highly considered. For this purpose comparison can be done between the budget andwhich is measure for the project that is $12 pound and cost which is spend while carrying out theproject. The satisfaction of the stakeholder can also sue for measuring the success of the project. The way to manage change in projectIt is essential to manage the change on the project for this purpose it is required to defined theobjective of the change. Further different types of strategies are made in accordance to theobjectives so that it can be fulfilled (Hallowell and Wehle, 2013).. Project management groupcan be created so that changes can be implemented successfully. With the use of control processeach and every step in the project management can be monitored. In addition to this changemanagement process is effective in respect to bring changes within the firm successfully. It helpsin gathering information related to the change and planning which is required to be done formeasuring the change. Techniques for project evaluation In the project evaluation the decision is required to be made according to the progress and impactof the selected project. Tracking and monitoring is required to be done for making sure thatproject is implementing according to the plan or not. It helps in analysing if any changes isrequired so that it can be implemented successfully (Dykstra, 2011).. Monitoring is required tobe done of graphical representation, project status, financial status etc. On the basis of all thisinformation project is evaluated and changes done if required. In addition to this, it is importantfor project manager to monitor, cost, running schedule so that it can be completed on time. 3
