INTRODUCTIONCorporate social responsibility is a concept of corporate self regulation which hasintegration with business model. This CSR is functioning as self regulatory techniques wherebusiness itself monitors and safeguard activities of the business like they ensures that all ofactivities are flowing in law with ethical standard and international or national norms. There areso many name that denotes CSR such as socially responsibility of business, corporatesustainability or accountability along with it ethical citizenship (Johnston and Bate, 2013). TheCSR is basically fulling commitments by ethical business and facilitates economic developmentwhile enhancing quality of the workforce with their families and the society at the larger scale.For an general explanations the corporate social responsibility, companies needs to acknowledgethat all ventures needs to be publicly accountable not just for their financial status orperformance but also for its social and environmental works. This report has been covered the allnorms and values of CSR which a company required to completes. Company Volkswagen hasbeen taken for this report cause they have already found with an global scandal to improve itsimage they have chosen the CSR in their company. This report has been concentrated on theaims and objective of the report along they have disclose the project management plan with fullcoverage of research and recommendation.TASK 1P1 Aim and objectives of projectIn today's modern era, it is more important for every organization to use as well as planeffective CSR activities in order to enhance their goodwill at market place. With the help of thiscompany easily attract large number of customers (Beaumont, WHITAKER and PEDERSEN,2013). Basically CSR activity used by the company as a promotional tool which positivelyimpact on the company and society as well. In this context, Volkswagen is biggest automotivecompany which operate their business in various countries. As per nature of the business theyhave to plan CSR activities in order to increase social welfare and provide better benefits to thesociety in order to develop their performance level at market place. Develop company reputation is main target of project which helps in reducing thenumber of issues and problems of the society. By implementing as well as adopting CSRactivities company easily enhance their goodwill in customer mind. In past year Volkswagen isnot carry out the CSR activities which reduce their performance but now they use better CSRpolicies within their organization in which they easily formulate their business activities andmaintain their sustainability. Along with this, it is more important for the company to effectivelyunderstand the importance of implementing CSR activities in developing their goodwill.Furthermore, government also provide better support to the company in which they promotevarious benefits to the society in order to enhance their standard and attain better results by them.All these are the main reason to implement the better CSR activities so that Volkswagen achievetheir target and improve their performance in more significant manner (Brown, 2013). If in casecompany will not plan the project effectively than they reduce their customers base due to theirnegative brand image at market place.
