Equality is just about ensuring everybody has an equal chances, and is not Treated
differences or the favoritism against because of their characteristics. Diversity is about
pickings account of the differences between people and the group of people, and point a
affirmative value on those differences.
This Research project will be based on Equality and Diversity at the workplace of Oak
Cash and Carry. Workers are facing problems related to the equality and diversity which need
to be solved this problem because it is affecting their business and reputation both. Henceforth,
report will lay importance on to bounds the aims and objective on the selected theme. (Adeleye
And et.al., 2019) Hence, different research methods will be chosen to move out the study

As per the view point of (Daniel, Kumar and Omar., 2018) Wok place discrimination
has huge impact on the employees moral and it is necessary for the companies to remove these
problems because if employees will be demotivated and not performing well in the task then it
will also affect on the company's performance. Discrimination between the employees on the
basis on their gender, age, religion and sex can turn into to conflict situations and it will make
companies working environment bad to it is necessary for the companies superiors to eliminate
workplace discrimination at make better environment at the workplace.
Discrimination at the workplace of the Oak Cash and Carry has huge impact on the
employees are performance of the company both because both are interrelated to each other. If
the employees will be not treated how other treated by the companies superiors then it will
affect ton the motivation of the employees, and they will not able to perform well in their task
which will also affect on the performance of the company.
Theme 2- Ways or Strategies to overcome from workplace discrimination ?
According to the (Ghosh., 2020) Workplace discrimination can be removed by making
the proper strategies. It is necessary for the superiors of the company to make proper policies
which can provide employees rights, and they also need top implement law related to the
Equality and diversity, so they can eliminate problem of discrimination. It is also necessary for
the superiors to treat there employees equally and give respect to the employees who are
working so it will help to increase moral and if everyone will be treated equality then it will also
remove the problems of workplace discrimination. As per the view of Ledford and Gast,
(2018) supiorior of the company show the important role in the boost the work environment that
fosters the cognizance and raise the quality of various workforce. With the help of support the
workplace diversity and social diversity the workers within the company can feel valuable and

esteem. Therefore, one of the better promotion of workplace diversity is that this can be one of
the effectual way to have improvement in workers productivity and also cut down the
absenteeism charge. This also supports to lower down the rate of workers turnover.
Theme – 3- Equality and diversity impact on the workplace Discrimination ?
As per the view point of (Medical Rehabilitation Coordinating Committee., 2017)
Equality and diversity at the workplace is important because it helps to remove workplace
discrimination. Superiors of the company should promote equality and Diversity by running
some activities like group activities in which employees can work together, and they can
understand each other's culture and their nature which create good relationship and
understanding between them. This can be useful practices to create equality and diversity at the
workplace to remove workplace discrimination. Each and every worker should be treated fairly
in everyday activities and work related decisions like training, pay and promotion of the
employees so the company can make the policies which provide equality to the employees, so
they can remove discrimination from their workplace. Polices like equal pay as per the post,
equal treatment, equal opportunity to perform and get promotion in the company. In a company
every kind of employees come who are from different country, religion and speak different
language and some of the employees can create discrimination on the basis of the cast religion
and language so superiors of the company can communicate with those employees and warn
them they do not discriminate and if they are not listening to the they should fire them from the
job and recruit new workers,

predict, explain and also helps to control the ascertained phenomenon. There are two kind of

research as quantitative and qualitative (Klarsfeld and et.al., 2016). On the other side,

The design of the research concerned with the overall strategies which researcher
choose to incorporate the various components of the survey in logical way. Research strategy
classified into the class as Descriptive, correlational, experimental etc. To make this study
successful researcher will use the descriptive design collect the equate info about the equality
and Diversity (Özbilgin and Slutskaya., 2017).
Data collection
Data collection is the method of gathering the relative information to the chosen topic
and this is classified into the two category which are primary data collection and secondary data
collection. Primary data is new data which is collected by the researcher itself through the
interview, survey etc, while secondary data collection is the methods of collecting data from the
internet , books and newspaper etc. To make this research successful, researcher will use
primary method.
Sampling
Sampling is the procedure which is use in the statistical Analysis. In this process
researcher take the observation from the larger population or the selected group. There are
four type of sampling which can be used by research – random, Systematic, Stratified and

Cluster technique. To make this research successful, researcher will use random sampling and
select 30 employees randomly.
Data analysis
Aim of the data analysis is to transforming, modeling and clearing the data to produce
useful information from the data. Superior approving must be interpreted before revealing any
data about the research subject as this helps to keep the honesty and integrity of study.
