TURBULENCE 2
Introduction
The problem that I had identified in week one is the cause of non-fatal accidents in
flights. From the research, in week one I had recognized that turbulence is the cause of injuries to
airline passenger. However, it is essential to get the solution to the confusion. In many cases, the
disturbance is unavoidable. For instance, when the plane is heading higher altitudes, the rising air
often cause turbulence. It is annoying at this particular time, and some passengers may end up
having a lot of injuries according to Barbaresco, Thobois, Dolfi-Bouteyre, Jeannin, Wilson,
Valla & Cariou, (2015). Other causes of turbulences are mountains, et engines, and plane’s wake
vortex.
Ethical, logical and emotional solution to turbulences in aircraft.
From the research, there are various ways of managing turbulence; the first step
according to Wang, Liu, Li, Guo, & Jiang, (2017), is that passengers should stop taking fizzy
drinks and alcohol while taking flight. Beverages such as alcohol make an individual imagine so
many things. When turbulence begins, one may not be able to control his or her thoughts. The
second step is that one should not concentrate on unusual noise. There can be a disturbing noise,
but they are not mean severe turbulence. If one concentrate on the sound he or she may be
disturbed by little things. Apart from that, it is essential for an individual to do away with the
mindset of always thinking of turbulence while bordering the aircraft. Such mentality may make
an individual to develop some pressure and end up injuring himself or herself for no apparent
reason.
On the other hand, in managing turbulence, it is essential to have a well-trained pilot
controlling the aircraft. The force that the confusion comes with may cause fear to passengers.
