The purpose of this memorandum is to present to you the concerns that the organization
has been facing lately, and some of the measures on how to tackle them by using the method of
virtual team. Not only we will be able to save cost to the company but also we will able to deal
with some of the current issues the company is facing.
As we are located in 4 different locations, first of all we are facing hindrance due to
language difficulties. Due to the fact, all of our 4 locations has employees of different culture and
communication style, it is difficult to get in contact with one another. This has created many
issues it the past however by creating a virtual team, we will be able to get in touch with one
another. As do not have face-to-face contact with the different branches, we are not able to
express the issues within the branches due to communication gap (Shimozono and Ito 2015).
However, by implying the method of virtual team, we can perform conference calls to get update
on the teams. As we know that face-to-face interactions are always better than sending an email
or a fax. Also in these four locations, we are having lots of unproductive meetings which are not
leading to a profitable solution just with the basis of numbers. With conference meeting, we will
be able to sort out this issue as well (Cannon et al. 2015). With the advantage of virtual team, the
employees can work from any place and would be available 24x7 based on their working hours,
this is one of the proposals I have for you.
Another advantage of virtual team is that we will have access to multiple markets across
the world. As per the current profit margin of our company is at a stagnant level. As per this
concern, we have come up with a new method to tackle the issue that is with the advantage of the
internet we will be able to use that to our full profit (Farris et al. 2014). As per our company’s
survey, we have located numerous sales people in multiple locations. If we were to recruit them,
they can work for our company and we will not have to go through the cost of opening an office
in a new location. Through this method, we can increase the workforce and even scale up or
