 Arab spring movement spread across the Arab world in
the year 2011, is referred to the independent
democratic uprisings.
 In the end, of period February 2012 rulers had been
forced in power in the countries such as Tunisia,
Egypt, Libya and Yemen (Ghosh, 2016).
 The countries that were a part of Arab spring included
Algeria, Iraq, Kuwait and others.

 From the research, the major protests were found in
the countries like Algeria, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait,
Morocco, and Oman. Therefore, these countries were
affected badly or majorly by the movemen
(Moghadam, 2018).
 Countries that had a minor or less impact i.e. minor
protests occurred in Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Sudan
and Western Sahara, Mauritania.
Countries affected by Arab Spring

 Some other countries were found successful, were
those who have strong civil society networks during
the Arab spring.
 Morocco has been one major example of the
successful country in this context. IT was successful
due to the fact that it was owned exclusively by
political elites (Davis, 2016).
 Thus, these specific countries had vital role in the
spring movement.

 Countries that had access to social
media were also successful, i.e. Tunisia
and Egypt.
 These countries were successful as they
became effective in mobilizing the
groups than others who have no control
over social media (Ghosh, 2016).

 A large number of differences has been
observed in respect to the responses of the
Arab dictators for the Arab spring
movement.
 In context to the given topic, millions of
people came together in the Arab world, to
discover their common yearning for dignity,
revolutions began after protests (Cammett,
