Context of problem
In this project proposal, the Rule of law issue in India is stated. This project proposal also
states the objectives, applicable laws, opportunities, obstacles, CTA, resources, and action
plan1.
Applicable laws, policies, convention, and development framework
In the broad sense, the Rule of Law means that law is supreme. It is above the people. Rule of
Law is demonstrated in the Constitution of India, in the doctrines preserved in the preamble
and part III. Within period, the Indian Constitution has been interpreted by the juries in a
manner to render the proper understanding to these principles. The Rule of Law has been held
to mean due procedure and an impartial and rational process2.
Objective
This project proposal is aimed on conducting the national campaign on the Rule of Law issue
in India. Following are the objectives of project proposal-
1. To assess the need to conduct the national campaign on the issue of Rule of Law in
India
2. To assess the obstacles or difficulties in organising the national campaign on the Rule
of Law issue in India
3. To find out the opportunities by conducting the national campaign on the Rule of Law
issue in India
4. To evaluate the resources required
Stakeholders
The people, organisations, communities, and institutions are the stakeholders. These
stakeholders are connected to the issues related to the Rule of Law in India. These
stakeholders including institutions, communities, people and organisations, support the
national campaign on Rule of Law issue, be adversely affected by the issue discussed in the
questions. These stakeholders have powers to modify the situations, or even be accountable
for the identified problems. In this way, this project proposal states that which shareholders
are affected by this problem and who will be influenced on the success of campaign3.
