INTRODUCTION
Impressive majority of global as well as regional legal and non governmental are working
in a team in the field of marine environment and its vulnerable resources. As they share similar
motive. There are number of organisation who usually operate with in internationals guidelines
and their determined legal frameworks that may range global conventions such as aiming on
protection, safety and development of regions seas (Song and Mi, 2016) As the hazards which
are associated with key pollution is been discovered and observed since seventeenth century.
This report may examine relevant links and inter relation of states and international institution
that lead the adoption of interventions and conventions such as MARPOL, SOLAS in order to
minimize sea pollution.
MAIN BODY
The international convention for there prevention of pollution from Ships is prime and
focused convention that may cover control and prevent of pollution of the sea environment by
seas from operational, incident or accidental causes. As the convention of MARPOL was
launched and implemented in 1973 at IMO (Dekun and Yue, 2016) Further the mains guidelines
as well as protocol was adopted in 1978. according to studies, it has been concluded that the
adoption of protocols were due to tanker accident in 1977. till 2005, the modification has took
place in protocols of MARPOL. As the convention may include ethics and regulation which aims
on prevention and control on the level of pollution in sea level. At present it may debits six
technical Annexes. There are special areas on operational discharges which are priority of
Annexes.
The six annex are as follows
Regulation For The Prevention Of Pollution Through Oil (1983)
Intercept For The Control Of Pollution By Noxious Liquid Substances In Bulk
(1983)
Control Of Harmful Substances Carried By Sea In Packed Form (1992)
Avert Of Pollution By Sewage From Ships (2003)
Halt Of Pollution By Garbage From Ships (1988)
Fending Off Air Pollution From Ships (2005)

As the role of IMO, actively acknowledgeable and acknowledging marine pollution.
Source of marine pollution from land based, the dumping of hazards were termed to be from
London Dumping convention (Song and Mi, 2016) The international convention fro the safety
of life at Sea was first adopted in London in which the SOLAS was formulated which highly
focused AND AIMED ON prevention of loss of human life at Sea,. Due to high level of
pollution there many cases which were accsoiba5ted with loose of life. Under convention made
by IMO, there were four convention were adopted as a policy in 1929 which have entered in
force 1933. there are few point which are elaborated in regards with convention of SOLAS
which are as follows:
Fire Protection, Detection As Well As Fire Extraction
Life Saving Appliances And Arrangements
Radiocommunications
Safety Of Navigations
Carriage Of Cargoes
Management Fro The Safe Operations Of Ships
Special Measures To Enhance Maritime Safety
As per the convention it highly aims on the fire safety from all ships that may include
cargo, ships, tankers and so on. As the distribution of ships in thermal structure may helpful to
prevent and reactions which is taken in respect of fire threat (Nguyen, 2020) Due high praise of
incidents, number of people termed to lose their life so in order to safety and security of human
life, resources were provided by government in order to maintain. The International Convention
for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships, all around known as MARPOL, is the key settlement
embraced by IMO to forestall and limit contamination from transportation. MARPOL tends to
contamination by oil from ships (canvassed in Annex I); likewise poisonous fluid substances,
like synthetic compounds, conveyed in mass (Annex II); hurtful substances conveyed in bundled
structure (Annex III); sewage releases into the ocean (Annex IV); and the removal adrift of boat
created trash (Annex V).
