Executive SummaryIn the required research proposal, the research is conducted to determine "the impact of total quality management and effects of extra responsibility of empowerment on employees" and the research study also investigate what extent empowering workers adds to the daily stress of work and the steps that need to be taken in order to enhance the acceptability of increased responsibility among the employees. The research is conducted by Marjan Television Network which is mainly as television company, and headquarter is located the United Kingdom. The research methodology which is used in the research study is a mixed method which includes qualitative and quantitative methods. IntroductionIn the required research proposal, research is conducting on the topic total quality management and empowerment of employees. The research is mainly conducting to determine “the impact of total quality management and effects of extra responsibility of empowerment on employees." The total quality management is mainly defined as the management system which includes continues improvement of employees in all aspects. The research is conducting on the Marjan Television Network which is mainly as television company and headquarter is located the UnitedKingdom. The company was established in 2009 and total employees are more than 100. The employee empowerment is mainly defined as the specific amount of autonomy given to the employees regarding the decision making for the specific tasks within the organization. There aremainly three approaches of employee empowerment, namely, socio-structural perspective, psychological, and critical perspective approach. The employee empowerment allows an individual to share information and contributes towards the decision making in order to improve the business performance but it motivates the employee to work in a most efficient and effective manner. The total quality management helps to manage the performance of employee in order to improve the business performance through providing high quality of services to the target audience. BackgroundAccording to the Dogan (2003), there are various primary conditions of employee empowerment such as attendance, information accessibility, innovation, and responsibility which helps to contribute towards the improvement of business performance within the specific period of time.

There are various benefits of employee empowerment to the employees such as personal development, increment in job satisfaction, willingness to work, organizational loyalty, and motivation (Elnaga et al., 2014). Akin (2010), states that the employment leads to decrease the work stress and increase hope as well as optimism. Employee empowerment is the most effectiveway which allows the employees to use their creative that contributes towards the business performance within the specific period of time (Eriksson et al., 2013). According to the Smith, 2006 organization needs to empower the employees in order to provide competitive advantage tothe company through innovation and contribution of employee in decision making. Ki Grasly and etc. finds in his study about the employee views related to the empowerment which suggest that the employee does not understand the concept of empowerment which suggest that the employee associate it with control over work and they does not considered it relevant to the power. The results shows that there is a significant relationship between the psychological empowerment, performance, empowerment, and innovation behavior and it is considered as important factors which helps to increases its performance (Boehm et al., 2015). Landes (1994) states that the collaboration and team is the form of empowerment whereas Ward (1993) found in his study that it is difficult to bring change within the organization in order to achieve employee empowerment (Akgün et al., 2014). According to the Talib, 2013 total quality management is the technique which engages all employees to meet customer expectations trhough using problem solving approach that enhance the quality of products and services within the specific period of time. Talib and Rahman (2010)has recognized total quality model as the component of TQM model which enhance the businessperformance through various practices such as focusing on target audience, commitment of top level management, continuous improvement, training and development, benchmarking,
