MARKETING AND MANAGEMENT After having completed my schooling, when I came to the university I was in need of a smartphone mainly for the purpose of my study. At the time of my schooling, I had a phone but not a smartphone due to which I cannot access the internet. Only I could call someone and receive someone’s call.All the professors of our college provide us notes through the internet platform and if I have a smartphone then easily I can access it anytime anywhere. This is the reason behind becoming aware of the smartphone. If we make a connection of smartphones with the 4P’s of marketing (product, price, place, and promotion) then we can say that the product is very useful and the price is also very less. It is affordable by each and every one. There is no place in the world where smartphones are less useful. It is useful in each and every corner of the world. And when it comes to promotion, we would like to say that it does not need any promotion, everyone knows the needs of a smartphone. Just if there is any new feature was introduced at that time promotion is needed so that everyone can be aware of that. Technology helps to run our live all these days. Even we cannot think for a life without them. In a very short period of time, technology literallyhave shattered the market place and nowadays most of the people cannot really seem to function a single moment without them. At recent times, technology is creating amazing resources and tools, putting all the information that is useful at their own fingertips. Due to modern technology, it become possible in order to discover many utility and functional devices like the smartphone. With all these new revolutions, technology helps to live our life more easily, better, faster and much more fun (Londhe, 2014). Digital technology has brought a change in the term ‘media’. In today’s world, a media company is not only a new platform but also it is known as a company which helps in the distribution of any information across the whole universe (Boyd, Richerson & Henrich, 2013).
