Marketing department of afirm holds the responsibility of approaching their customers, investors, prospects and otherstakeholders as for creating a major image that would help in representing company in a positivemanner. In short marketing helps a company to build their brand in a market. Cadbury is an UKbased multinational company dealing in confectioneries. The parent firm of the enterprise isMondelez International. This project will be dealing with role and responsibilities of marketingalong with its interrelation with other units of function within the organisation. This project willalso be including a comparative analysis of usage of marketing mix elements in the company andMcDonald's as for achievement of their overall business objectives. Positive and negativeinfluences on the macro environment of a business is also demonstrated within this report.TASK 1P1 Key roles and responsibilities of the marketing of CadburyThere are certain major duties that are to be fulfilled by the marketing department createdin Cadbury, for which they are particularly organised for (Papasolomou and Melanthiou, 2012).They have to function effectively in creating strategies, conducting market researches,development of products, communication with stakeholders, sales support and organisingpromotional events.
