In thisreport, various discussions are going to be made which includes marketing functions roles andresponsibilities. Along with this, it also include a detail description of inter relationship betweenmarketing department and other functional departments of the company. At the end of thisreport, it also includes comparison between two companies as well as marketing plan of PremierInn. P1. Explain the key roles and responsibilities of the marketing function. The process of marketing is refer to as exchange of products and services. It basically involves identifying customers’ needs and requirements. After effective evaluation of market, next step is to choose target market so that company canapproach them easily. After that products and services of Premier Inn are offered to suchcustomers and guests..Next step after selecting target market is to develop and frame strategies of marketing. As ithelps in attracting customers by promotional and adverting tools in effective manner.
