INTRODUCTIONMarketing is considered as procedure in which all activities regarding exchange goodsand services are being conducted in order to sell those to one another. According to theAmerican Marketing, “ marketing involves activities that is concerned with production,communication and deliverry of goods and services that offers sum values for clients andcustomers along with partners as well (Definition of Marketing. 2017.). Company taken for thiskind of report is Cadbury which was founded in 1824 and this company mainly deals withconfectionery services and products. There are more then 100,000 of employees who areassociated with company as per the records of report conducted in 2008. There are severalcomponents that are being explained in this project such as various functions of marketing ofbusiness along with several other business operations that a company undertakes. Besides this,there will comparison of company and its leading rival on the basis of 7P's. Moreover, for3
implementation of operations along with process of business in better and effective manner alongwith plan of marketing which needs to be formulated by every kind of activity which can beattempted in better manner. TASK 1P1 Marketing functions and their role in an organization Various kind of business owners strives togenerate more amount of revenue along withadoption of tools and techniques in order to complete the objectives. Hence, various kind offunctions regarding marketing needs to be understood in effective and proper manner in order tocomplete all kind of activities and operations in better way and thus it should be related to themarketing information system to financing. This can be stated as term which is being mainlyutilised by the company however hard to perform. Marketing is having immense scope due towhich evaluation is required for employees and companies who are determined for marketingand selling as individual concept. Numerous functions are identified regarding concept ofmarketing which in turn can be understood by company's management for carrying out all kindof operations with all kind of activities in most appropriate manner (Seven Functions ofMarketing. 2017). Managers of Cadbury has priority on evaluating functions that mainlyperformed under the concept of marketing as described below:4
