Marketing is the important department which is
responsible for selling activities and profitability by
using promotion. In business organisation there are
different types of department who are performing
their business activities effectively in order to
maintain profits.
With the help of marketing business organisation
provide information to people and encourage them
to buy such products and services. In other words,
marketing is the functional department which is
connected with all department for the purpose of
driving sales effectively.
For instance, Air Canada is large size organisation in
which all departments HRM, marketing, IT, finance
and production are exist to perform well and increase
the business activities. The cross interrelation between
all department and marketing are in respect of Air
Canada has been defined:
Marketing with research and development
department: Research means to find out the needs of
people with understanding, collect data and provide the
information to marketing department which helps to
introduce products and focus on goals.
Research and marketing department communicate with
each other and maintain the activities.
In marketing, management firstly analyse the needs
of people then conduct research programme which
helps to provide products and services accordingly.
To understand the relation of marketing with other
department this report has been prepared that states
functional relationship of Air Canada with other
department in achieving organisational goals.
Relationship
Marketing function is the important function
in all business corporation where it targets audience
in order to attain the business goals. This is used to
understand the needs of people and plans according
which helps to increase the organisational sale. The
main aim of business industry is to increase the
productivity by increasing number of sale and get
higher profits. The responsibility of marketing
department is to track trend, understand customer
needs, conduct research, communicate with all,
identify marketing tool and face the competition in
order to achieve the business goals effectively.
