1. Introduction
My name is Bello Jalal and study under a business programme. The report brings out a
discussion on feedback on marketing mix and CSR essay learnings to analyse what I have
actually learnt during my course. In this feedback learning, the report comes up with
discussion on corporate social responsibility and its practical implication. Furthermore, this is
a revision of two topics where one is corporate social responsibility and its implication on
business so that I can prepare for the exams and score goods marks. The feedback report is
based on description, situation, feeling while writing, and evaluation report of how
experience can be good or bad, pleasant, unpleasant, easy, difficult, and the related
experience.
2. Marketing Mix Presentation learning
The presentation brings on discussion on marketing mix of Tesla Motors. The learnings lay
out that marketing mix is appropriate set of elements and tools, which pursue marketing
objectives in its target market. For the analysis of Tesla`s marketing mix, it is seen that
marketing mix contributes to findi8ng several attributes of the company. The evaluation of
price and promotional strategies can help to attract the target market (Global web index,
2019). The experience related to analysis is quite pleasant, as I have to know many things
regarding the operation of Tesla and its CSR responsibilities. I have learnt a lot from the
experience that competition is upsurging due to same level of price and quality it offers such
as Nissan leaf also promotes the products through higher ending environmentally aware
consumers (Mind Tools, 2019). As a description, it has happened to be a good experience as
it gave me many ideas related to advertisements and promotion. I have even identified the
threats associated with internet promotion such as cyber-attacks and other attacks, which does

not provide any privacy and security to the email address and personal data (Global web
index, 2019).
Model X is one of the best selling cars because it is an electric vehicle, which is the fastest
sports utility cars. The promotional activity studies that shifting to electric cars has reduced
carbon emissions (Marketing mix, 2019). Researchers have compared the air pollution as
generated from the battery powered electric vehicles with internally enabled combustion
engines. The analysis states that pressure due to environmentally friendly of transport, which
can provide Tesla as an option to combat the pollution. The promotional strategy come up
with events, which could reveal items before the product is available while purchasing
through the high class. Form the evaluation; it is well know that these celebrities are the
brand ambassadors of the car, which definitely attract the fan following and induce them to
purchase their cars. Through the analysis and evaluation, it is seen that promotion is quite
important as it keep benefits of services to customers through well-designed marketing and
other promotional activities by bringing long-term success to consumers and profitability to
business success. Promotion due to carbon emission free cars has increased its awareness for
the brand, avail appropriate data, building profits, sales and increasing customer traffic. As
far as the competition and targeting is, concerned, right audience has to be found out so that
promotional strategy and the marketing plan can assist to find different segments of the
consumers by offering suitable solution for high-level clients. I have learnt the features of this
product and I have decided to buy this car due to its explicit features. The model signify that
X model is the best-selling cars as it is four door battery set and best selling cars between
especially two years. By focusing on the marketing mix of the product “Tesla,” it is seen that
product line features have Auto parking, auto lane changing, assistance to driver abilities, and
enhanced summons by navigating parking to locate the drivers without any inputs from
driver.

3. CSR Essay learning
From the essay on CSR, I have learnt with increasing dynamic changes have several changes
in the business environment. These changes have led businesses to extend its operations to
achieve every possible profit making opportunity. Corporate social responsibility is a self-
regulating business model, which can help the organisation to remain socially responsible to
its stakeholders. It ensures practise of all aspects, which includes activities at society, social,
economic, and environmental level. This situation led to exploitation of environment, social
communities, and other resources (Crane, Matten, and Spence, 2019). I have learnt that CSR
activities is quite important to organisations and consumers. It creates a strong bond between
companies and employees. For example- Starbucks is a CSR leader, which creates social
responsibilities programs in several aspects. Furthermore, I have disliked some of the main
points, which comprise of non-availability of the moral theories, ethical theories, corporate
social performance, and corporate social responsiveness. Furthermore, the government
enforced the companies to comply with rules and regulations so that it can improve the
situations. It has been mandated for all MNCs to present a report to its stakeholders to create
its transparency. Consistent transparent operations can create trust amongst the stakeholders.
The feedback to your essay is related a series of actions such as I have accomplished to study
many books on corporate social responsibility. My professor suggested me to go through
corporate governance report of companies who severely contribute towards the understanding
of CSR. I have felt that the concepts of CSR was made to promote ethical practises amongst
the organisation. During my essay writing, I was happy to decide whether CSR plays an
important role in building brand reputation. I admire the concept of delegating a portion of
company’s profit to community work (Skilton and Purdy, 2017). The criterion for CSR
activities such as companies often try eradicating poverty and hunger, promoting gender
inequality, reducing child mortality, and improving maternal health. Furthermore, it ensures

to combat environment issues and force companies to maintain sustainability. This awareness
amongst stakeholders has resulted to the introduction of corporate social responsibility. The
essay demonstrated needs high analysis because according to me learnings are not up to the
mark because it does not introduce any ethical frameworks. According to me, it is most
appropriate when the implication of CSR can be more understandable. The essay has
demonstrated the importance of creating brand image in the stakeholders by doing something
different from is competitors (Skilton and Purdy, 2017).
CSR can add value to the data of the company. Each coin has two sides, where one brings out
disadvantages and another tells advantages. Although, CSR adds to the cost of the company
but it also creates brand image in the eyes of shareholders and customers before buying any
product. Government strictness has led to create many regulations imposed on the
manufacturing companies so that companies start working on overall good of the society as
well as company (Stead, and Hastings, 2018). To get an in-depth analysis, it is seen that
practical examples have been in relation to multinational organisations. According to me, the
essay has not been critically analysed properly. It must not include only the advantages and
disadvantages. However, it must also include different frameworks associated with CSR
theories such as Carroll’s pyramid, which includes important framework related to the
integration of satisfaction of social responsibilities and implementation of policies. Carroll
framework avails a three dimensional model, which categorises economic, legal,
discretionary, and ethical aspects. I personally felt that the scope of social responsibility
brings an array of domains leading to different obligations. Economic role of companies have
reduced pyramid model to focus on profit making. Ethical domain is the major domain under
CSR theories (Stead, and Hastings, 2018).
However, the evaluation is based on pleasant, wellness, its experience, goods, and its critics.
The evaluation does not sound good because as I earlier said there is no description of ethical
Document Page
theories and CSR theories (Grayson, 2016). The pleasant thing about this essay is the
demonstration of examples and companies who have followed the CSR policies and currently
are at the top of activities. The good experience is related to know the mandatory rules made
by government towards the CSR (Asim, 2017). Their experience shows how every MNC can
come together and strive to equate their unequal distribution of income, which is associated
with the selling of goods, regulating expenses and then distributing the profits in community
in form of social work such as sponsoring education. The essay includes example of Tesla
model S car, which manufactures cars to avoid pollution and environmental degradation,
which again reduces spending of money on petrol (Lins and Servaes, 2017). The experience
while studying CSR relates to companies such as Ford Motors who have started
manufacturing hybrid and electric cars by the end of 2022 (Bhattacharyya, 2019). More
examples are related to Coca- Cola, which attempts to deliver trucks by contributing 3.7
Million as tons of greenhouse impact of Co2 impact to the world. The experience was
positive when I have learnt and watched the advantages gained by the organisation such as
increasing sales. More advantages to the organisation is related to profits, which gives an
ability to drive the growth of the organisation by investing in new buildings, infrastructural
technology, and labour (Lucas, Van Wee, and Maat, 2016). It can give organisation more
space in generating more profits, which means that the company will be able to maintain
appropriate liquidity and solvency position. Considering all the ethical practises as
community and environmental goals being a good employer (Sulaiman, and Syahrivar, 2018).
Some of the disadvantages can lead to increase in costs of production, which can increase/rise
expenses of the organisation. The conclusion of the essay is quite strong as it totally agree to
the concept of corporate social responsibility. A secured and sustained profit can improve the
quality of the consumers by prioritising opportunities towards the quality services and
enhanced product offerings (Wang, Takeuchi, and George, 2016). CSR can enhance and

improve the company`s operations, which look not only the profits but also society and
environmental masses. The evaluation states that the concept is such a well said concept,
which focuses on financial success of the organisation, contribution to solve social issues
(Amer, 2019).
3. Revision & Exams learning
For the revision session, first thing, which I need to understand is the appropriate procedure.
The revision for each topic is quite important by highlighting each of them. Firstly, for CSR,
it will undertake to study profit-based responsibilities in economic model, triple bottom line,
significance of CSR frameworks, Carroll framework, friedman model of not ignoring the
ethical responsibilities, philanthropic model and other theoretical frameworks. While revising
the practical implications, it is seen that practical examples of CSR has to be undertaken such
as Tesla`s X model, Ford company and other companies such as Starbucks, who is the star
performer. My learning diary has been filled with important concepts. For the revision of
Marketing mix, it is important to understand and revising its elements such as product, price,
place, and promotion. I would adopt this approach where there are five ways to approach
revision by making a manuscript, and keep it away once the draft is accomplished (Wang et
al., 2016). I must take break between making the draft and revising it repeatedly. Changing
the scenery by changing the topic from ethical theories to marketing mix of Tesla. I have
made a rule of reading it loud, which can give me an opportunity to hear it as well and
concentrate on my topics. Through this framework, it is seen that a bird Eye view is
important before revising the ethical theories and read it aloud so that I will come to know to
hat extend and still recall the concepts.

5. Next steps
From the above steps, it has been seen that there is a lot to learn in these concepts, which are
related to marketing mix and theories of corporate social responsibility. The marketing mix in
the report does not include pricing and place strategies, which are important to discuss
(Reamer, 2019). There is a wide range of learning scope through which it can make the
revision plan stronger. One of the major lagging of this analysis is the lack of ethical theories
and lack of CSR theories (Chen, Yu, 2018). The concepts and revision plan can be made
stronger with the help of these improvements. Firstly, I thought it is quite difficult to criticize
own paper because my knowledge is limited. However, with the passage of time, I have seen
that I have created an understanding by regularly reading CSR from different sources and by
viewing the different critical examples (Grayson, 2016). For instance- Tesla produced X
model cars, which are free from carbon emissions as it is an electric car (Grayson, and
Hodges, 2017).
As I am a business student and I want to become an entrepreneur and I dream to gold a
company, which have a turnover of more than 5 crore. I will have to learn the importance of
serving people as triple bottom line suggest that a business always procures three items at a
time as people, profit and planet. It is the core responsibility of the organization to come up
with these policies (Shafin, and Kasim, 2018). I have faced many challenges when I started
providing feedback to my work as now I think providing advantages and disadvantages to the
CSR is not enough for CSR essay. Furthermore, there is a need to have a deeper level of
understanding.
6. Conclusion
On a concluding note, it is seen that it is quite important for the business to follow corporate
social responsibility and comply with all government policies in regards to protect the
environment. Corporate social responsibilities are quite important for the business operations

as it creates brand image amongst the customers and other stakeholders. Furthermore, the
above report is based on feedback through which I have revised my whole topic and with this
plan I am confident that I would score good marks.
