Present report contain information about what should be done by McDonald and inwhich way to replace the junk food with healthy food material. For achieve this, firm can takehelp of a marketing plan and can carry out research to predict how customers will react.TASKSAims: It is consider as a major target on which whole project will lead to get conclude sothat better and appropriate outcome could be gain. This project is based on McDonald's whomwant to evaluate about replacement of junk food with healthier one. “To evaluate suitability ofreplacement of existing junk food with healthy one with identification of reaction of change bymarket – A case study on McDonald's”.Objectives: These are consider as several points which need to understand by research sothat problem get evaluated properly and appropriate outcome could be gain on it. Thus, businessneed to understand research problem effectively and create appropriate research questions.McDonald's need to prepare their objectives which stated as follow:To determine suitability of replacement of existing junk food with healthy oneTo evaluate and determine the responses of various demographicsTo identify reaction of market on such changes by McDonald'sOn the basis of these three consents, it get articulated that replacement of existingproducts with new one is not easy as McDonald's is establish as one of a largest food chain. Butthere are several problems arise in a business which associates with an organisation when theylead to conduct this research(Wilton, 2011). A major research problem for a company is allabout ethics and values because in primary data respondents opinion plays a vital role.Sometimes, many people do not provide appropriate view of consent which harms overall ethicsand values of investigation.Thus, major research question on which McDonald's need to focus stated as below:1
Is this replacement of junk food with healthy one fulfil all needs and demands ofcustomers of McDonald's?How will McDonald's become able to collate data from various demographic customers?What will be the reaction of market while performing such changes on business?Literature reviewFast food refers to the pizza, hamburgers, fries or any kind of food that can be quicklyprepared and served at lower prices. Fast food was penetrating the food industry since 1950's andis becoming popular day by day(Vanhercke and et. al., 2014). Large number of people knownsthat fast food harm the health of an individual but still one can see bunch of crowded peoplewaiting in front of food outlet which serves fast food.As per the point view ofSteenkamp, 2010in the first boom individuals recognised thatfast food is harm the health of a people. Individuals who consume this kind of food on regularbasis always remain low in nutritional value, high in calories, obesity and many more. Noweveryone knowns that fast food is harmful for health.Over the last few years, consumption of fast food has increased worldwide. One of themain feature of fast food is that this are easy to prepare, access and inexpensive and that's why itis favoured by people of all age groups. Various investigation has showed various negativeeffects from consumption of fast food is that it is the main reason of weight gain in large numberof youth and this increase the risk of diabetes.Among individuals of all age groups, young and adolescents are found to be moreinterested in consumption of fast food. The main reason behind frequent consumption of fastfood in teens is due to its specific attributes such as fast to prepare and access.Rider,2012concluded that, food habits of an individual should be healthy as this remain stable for the entirelife time. For control the consumption of fast food it is very essential to pay special attention tothe interventions designed for adolescents. By understand the major elements of healthy eatingvarious individuals such as families, experts and policies makers can make better decisionsrelated with dietary habits of young generations and can prevent them from the potential threatsthat are associated with consumption of fast food. For this, it is very essential to collect hugeamount of information from respondents to make better decisions and to examine the impact onlife of an individuals to formulate better and effective policies.2
