MAZE RUNNER GAME IN UNITY

Introduction
“Maze Runner” gaming project is developed using Unity Game Engine. The language
used for the development of this gaming project is C#. The project file contains assets
such as C# scripts, animation, prefabs, textures etc. This is a 3D Game designed for
PCs. Talking about the gameplay, the player is trapped inside a Maze and he/she has to
find a way out there before the time runs out.
PC controls are [Up, Down, Left, Right
Arrow Key for Movements]. The player can also move the camera angles while playing
from the sidebar game controls. This project is easy to operate and understood by the
users.
Elements Implemented
The elements as defined in unity 3D game development are components which when assembled
together, a game is formed and developed using Unity Engine. Elements in Unity 3D plays a very
important and central role in the overall exercises of interactive game development. It also helps
in adding features which can openly show the objective of the game. In the maze runner game
prototype developed, the following are the elements which are utilized in the development.
a) WSAD-Movement & Jumping
In the development of the maze runner game, WSAD feature to initial movement and
jumping controls was used for this case of the game development.
b) Looking around with the Mouse
In this element, it helps the player of the game to be in a position to use the mouse or the
touch pad to navigate the eyes around looking for the enemies. This is a very common
feature in gaming as it helps for easy navigation around the fight scene as well as being
able to notice and obstacle which might be in hidden generated background.
c) A decent looking maze generation background
The maze background is designed and developed in such a way that is it able to
regenerate itself as the runner is moving around it. For that reason, the runner is not able
to reach the destination as the scene is created in a regeneration technique with new and
