1. Research topic
For the business to be successful it is necessary that the company must be working in
better and effective manner so that profitability is being increased. Working on increasing the
performance of the company it is necessary for the reason that in case profits will not be earned
by the company then this will be affecting the working efficiency of the company (Alsaadi, and
et.al., 2018). The profitability can be calculated by reducing all the expenses from the total
income of the company. In the present case the use of McDonalds past years’ data has been
undertaken in order to analyse the efficiency of the company.
2. Raw data relating to research topic
For the working of the research and use of MS Excel is very important for the reason that
without the data the working cannot be undertaken. This is pertaining to the fact that when the
data is collected in appropriate manner then this will help in proving the objective of the study
correctly (McDonald's Revenue 2010-2021 | MCD, 2022). For this the raw data is collected
relating to sales, cost of sale, gross profit and net profit of McDonalds.
