INTRODUCTIONPersonal connection is the concept of linking one to one communication of the people topanother with intention to share information to other with feelings or with use of fuller mind. In adigital age, where personal connection is derived relevant to build perfect for communication(Lewis Ellison, 2017). Communication is somewhere similar to culture, which has its own socialimperatives and links on basis of which people reacts in somewhat defined manner. Thisassessment is being carried on personal connection in the digital age by Nancy K. Baym (2015).With preference to this, author will try to put down contemporary relevancy to digital cultures.CRITICAL ANALYSISa) Concept of digital ageDigital age is a periodical era, which is completely separates to the ancient and older timewhere communication or might be sharing of information was made with use of traditional toolswhose presence is being like keeping into the museum (Mihailidis and Viotty, 2017). With helpof digitalisation and change of media, connection has become easy for people, covering bothpersonal and professional attitude. Its very true that digital age has contributed much more topersonal connection.Also, media is derived like a culture, in which control over its means is not that possible.Also, media is being acknowledged as digital culture, in which people's have several perceptionor attitude to accept the reality onto different ground. Also, from older to new time, user ofcommunication or digitalisation has changed from time to time basis and also with changes asper their usage (Lagerkvist, 2017). In current time, purpose of the digital culture is to setstandard for people, in case when they used to share some set of the information and message toother people. In perspective to our society, role of digital age is to focused for transforming wayto share information to other person with support of relevant media tools or techniques.b) Major arguments present by the authorNancy Baym (personal connection in the digital age) has tried to explores more essentialaspects for how technologies have played important role to influences our personal relation andfurthermore, enables to increased ability to navigates social interaction without them (Handysideand et. al., 2017).
