Survey questionnaire
The study would apply the qualitative method of study design. The reason is that this
design helps collect the type of information that does not require quantitative analysis but only
the qualitative methods (Trochim, and Donnelly, 2010, p. 23). Based on the type of content I will
be looking for during the study, I will only get qualitative data and thus the analysis would be
based on this fact. The study would make use of the random technique to get the study sample.
The reason for this fact is that the method avoids being bias or getting biased information for the
study (Liamputtong, and Ezzy, 2015, p. 13). The method will be applied from a population of
1000 people in the local area who normally seek medical attention from the local health
facilities. This will ensure that the information obtained is most relevant to the study and area of
focus (Damschroder, et al. 2009, p. 50). The sample will be obtained from the population to
ensure that the data obtained can be spread on the population without any problem.
The study sample will be 300 participants who will also be obtained randomly. This
would ensure that the information has a p- value of greater than 0.005 (p> 005) so that the null
and positive hypotheses can be done correctly using the best methods of data analysis (Willer et
al. 2013, p. 1274). The type of survey to be used in the study is the online survey. This method
operates by having a website that has a closed-ended questionnaire with the various queries that
will help to collect the data needed. The method is very reliable since it does now waste a lot of
time for the researcher and the participants as well (Craig, et al. 2009, p. 1655). The method
requires that the participants find their own free time and log in the website to access the
questionnaire and then fill it. All of them will have the email and password for the website;
however a telephone will be used to make a follow-up on the participants to ensure that they all
take part in the survey (Bowling, 2014, p. 13). The following is the tabulation for the sample.
