INTRODUCTION
In this essay, case scenario of peter will be discussed. It will cover the health issues,
behaviour, and consequences of life issues on his mental and physical health. Peter is observed to
suffer from a mental heath issue and admitted to mental ward. His life has changed a lot after his
breakup and he used to drink a lot. He was a neglected child and victim of domestic violence
(Fayed and et. al., 2020). His past life is also not so good regarding his physical and mental
health. He has recently suffered from a mental health issue and he does not like any sort of
interruption by any family member in his life. His stepmother is really caring and loving
towards him. Currently, he used to reside in hospital campus alone and his stepmother comes to
visit him and help him in all his household works but does not seems to like her.
The confidentiality and privacy of peter can be maintained by the hospital staff by
maintaining records of all visitors. The hospital management can restrict the time of visiting the
patients and only limited visitors should be allowed to enter the campus (Saxena and et. al.,
2022). For maintenance of safety, it is important to check the identity card of visitors and to
ensure that visitor is not carrying any harmful thing to the patient.
MAIN BODY
The four P's of case formulation are: Perpetuating, Predisposing, Precipitating, and
Protective factors. These four P's are helpful in arranging the factors that may be responsible for
the development of anticipatory distress. Predisposing factors refers to the risk of development
of a health related problem, mainly high anticipatory distress. The given condition may be due to
unhealthy life events, genetic composition, or temperament, etc. In Peter's case, he is likely to
expose to develop predisposing factors due to current life condition and sad emotions of getting
separated from loved one. Precipitating factors concerns to a specific event or impulse on the
basis of the current issue. Peter is already is in sad mood due to breakup. Perpetuating factors
refers to the maintaining the problem after the problem has become established (Pick and et. al.,
2019). Protective factors refers to the strength of the individual and reduce the problem severity
and promote healthy functioning. In Peter's case, protective factors can help him in overcoming
the current stressful life events and can strength up his confidence towards healthy life. The
Three Phase Conversational Model (TPM) is an innovative approach to assess the needs and
planning care of the patient. The model focuses on individual's strength and assets of the
