this tender document which in turn will serve to mental health patient that are in age group of
60 and above.
 This tender document will moreover will also be enhancing the quality, efficiency in the
support and care services (Hochstetter and et.al., 2021).
 Department of Health will be leading this project as this branch of government is related to
the public health maintenance that whose main aim is to raise awareness about different
issues that are been faced by public.
 Integrated Care system is purpose of this project and to make it new normal in the policy of
the government.
Further the department of health is the important branch that offers leadership while
implementing services in the national health services. Agenda of government through this is to
raise awareness regarding mental issue in age group of 60. Tendering simple refers to process
that involves government and other financial investors that invite bids for large projects. This
tender will be providing all information regarding tender process and, grant value by government
and budget for the Bidders.

Mental health includes ones emotional, social and psychological well-being. This simple
determines how on will handle stress and make a health choice.
Mental health has been considered equally important with all other components of health. The
five signs that helps to look mental health of patience is constant fatigue, avoidance,

Care services simply refers to the services that are provided to the health patients. This
includes diagnosis, prevention, treatment and to cure disease, illness the injury faced by the
physical or the mental patient. This aims to increase the improve quality of life in the stream of
health care population. Continuous care helps to improve social welfare of an individual.
Generally, every country has a government whose main role is to serve patients in health care
services by making a department of the health who focuses on free services. There are two types
of health service provider private and public. Private charges high cost from their patients and
aim of public healthcare provider is to ensure public safety.
Walk in services in terms of health care system Is to provide without an appointment.
There is separate clinic specially designed for the purpose of walk in services. This clinic helps
to those patients that does not have basic medical insurance and at the same time this also helps
in cases of emergency. Walk in clinic is also named as the Urgent Care providers. They act like
convenient clinics as they provide fast services to their clients.
Integrated care system is another term that is involved when two organizations partners and
plan to deliver to health service. This integrated care system brings together both private and
public sector in order to improve lives of the peoples. The goal of such system is to enhance
quality life of the patients by cutting their long term problems related to any disease that they are
facing.
Overview of contents
Over the time usefulness of such expedition is highly needed. The society is getting aware
and there is need to make safety and care services more inclusive. Keeping the above notion in
mind a well-structured tender is being fabricated in attempt to open up it for the intended
services. A proposed service is “To deliver mental health care services to the age group of 60 and
above in UK to 50 people”.

organization will be providing right quality of services. The organization must have experience
of minimum 10 years in this field with effective and efficient performance history. The solutions

takers have been increased. There is an assumption of 50 old aged people who are going to
require for need of mental health care. It is just an estimate which may increase due to current
rise in mental health problems of people. The health care centre can provide effective and
efficient mental and health care services to old aged people with the help of experienced doctors,
nurses and service users or carer. The demand scale for mental health will increase as there are
numerous people which includes old as well as young who are facing mental health issues and
which is required to be cured on timely basis otherwise this may cause severe health and mental
issues. The people with mental issues do not just access mental health services but also requires
services like primary care and emergency services.
The mental health issue can raise suicidal tendency in people which is harmful and there
must be timely treatment for this to minimize death ratios due to suicide in country.
Therefore, it can be said that there will be increase in demand for mental health care services
in country and the supply of this service is relatively low in comparison to its increasing
demand (Bucci, Schwannauer and Berry, 2019). The establishment of health care centres for
old people will give effective and efficient outcome to organization as well as to people who
are taking service. The health care centre will also give other care services to service takers
and make them feel like home so that they can be able to cured quickly. There are various
other reasons which can cause mental health problems in people which are required to be
analysed before providing them treatment. The effective and efficient treatment and care to
service takers can result into increase in demand and this will be advantageous for both
organization and service takers. The raise in awareness within people regarding mental health
problems or issues is an evidence for increase in demand for delivering mental health care
services to people. Currently, it is being assumed that demand for the mental health care
service will be around 50 people which will increase with time.

 The client group is 50 members who are lying in the age group of 60 and plus more.
These people are suffering from mental health and their situation is supposed to be highly
vulnerable. This client group is selected on the basis of severity of their problem and they
are having need to be served in the best possible way. Because the age is higher then
there is need to emotional help too. It is often missed to be provided with emotional
services. This cause is leading to poor outcomes of any used therapy.

 Over the time “Integrated working” is being promoted since it is not handy for the
government or state funded organizations to extend best health and care services. With
this respect, need of such integrated working cannot be denied. Here, integrated service
need is quite significant. Integrated working would give upper hand to this project and
these people will get higher benefits.
 By this project it can be understood that what are the local issues are there and how they
can be sorted out. Since the mental health issues are generally seen as the general
phenomenon. They are prevailing in wider manner. Even with the progress of time, these
convictions are becoming more salubrious and need of these practises is needed.
 As the government websites suggested that in UK 1 out of 4 people are suffering from
mental health. Specifically, old aged people. They are not having much social
interactions and it is leading them to face some issues which are getting worse due to
inability of such services. As NHS has already extended its severe attention to this issue.
The mental health cases are growing with faster rate and these client group is having
urgent need to be provided kind of walk in care services. This will not only change the
social scenario but would also bring betterment to this section.
 They are looking for walk in services due to their inability to make visit of hospitals and
kind of care centres. Since their age is not favouring them to make frequent visits to any
of such institutions. In this context, there is need to have such team who may reach to
them personally and may serve them. It would be the task of higher responsibility
because severity of this project.

The project is for three years. There would be number of costs since the project is intended to

It is needed since there are three different types of such services. Which are bifurcated in three
big categories such as low, medium and high. The aim of this tender is to ask for the most

cost units and income units would be there. At the same time, the five lac grant which would be
granted every year is also taken into consideration.
Evidence of the way bidders will engage with the service users and the wider
stakeholders
There are various policies which are mentioned in NHS which requires engagement with service
users and bidders are required to provide evidence in relation to engagement with service users.
Service users are engaged by bidder to enhance value and impact of services which is to be
provided by them to service takers (Torous and et.al., 2018). The bidders can provide evidence
by providing a copy of agreement with service users which contains all the terms and conditions
of engagement along with the period for engagement. The engagement with service users can be
on contract basis or by entering into partnership. In case the engagement is through partnership
then copy of partnership deed is required to be filed. The copy is to be provided along with the
tender for verification which will be beneficial for competent authority to ensure the eligibility of
bidders. The wider stakeholders such as government, political parties, state etc. are to be engaged
to fullest level. They will be able to ensure their participation by legal way. Access to the reports,
