INTRODUCTION
Mental health is defined as the perceptive, social and sensitive well-being. It is associated
with the thinking and behaviour of people which include thinking and pattern. In this, there are
various people who use the term mental well-being that show the mean of non-appearance of the
any kind of mental disorder or disease. Moreover, the mental health usually affects the daily
living of person and also create hindrance in relationship, and the physical health of individual.
However, the mental health also includes emotional, psychological and the social wellbeing. In
this, to reduce the issue which is originated regards with the mental health issue. The world
mental day and mental health week is announced which work as awareness program within
Australia. The main motive of the world mental health day on the 10th October is creating
campaign that focus on the increasing investment on the mental health. The theme that is
associated with the world mental health day is to move for mental health and develop preventive
ways. In this report, the importance of mental world day is discussed with the role of
administration and non-government agencies. The value of engaging community and social
group for the mental health week and the role which may influence media and community media
in the mental health elevation (Bergin et. al., 2020).

Purpose of world mental health day and their importance
The world mental health day is defined as the global day for the global psychological
health education which used to develop mindfulness and advocacy in contradiction of the social
stigma. In this, it was first celebrated in the 1992 due to rising cases of mental health. This
initiative was regulated by the world health organisation with the number of members and the
contact which is associated with the more than 150 countries. The initiative has various aim and
objective to create a global trend among the people to know about mental health and it is act as
disease which may disturb the wellness of people. Whereas, the main aim of world mental health
day to educate the people and spreading the awareness which show the importance of the mental
health and they should never ignore or the neglect their mental health issue. it is significant to
share the information regards with the mental health issue because according to the world health
organisation 1 in 13 internationally suffer from the illness called as nervousness (Brunier et. al.,
2020).
