INTRODUCTION
Contemporary issues are considered as the challenges and barriers that are faced by
healthcare organizations in the current environment. These problems have a negative impact on
the productivity of the healthcare organizations to deliver appropriate services to their clients and
improve their health condition. Due to these issues, the recovery of patents is delayed which has
serious repercussions on their health and wellness. These aspects are not beneficial for people to
maintain their health appropriate and enjoy the healthcare services properly. Mental health issues
are serious problems that has a negative impact on the patients and are referred as inappropriate
for the overall development of these individuals.
The current report will be based on the mental health issues in the Hounslow's local area.
It will examine the determinants of health which are specific to mental health in Hounslow,
health inequalities and the relationship between identified determinants with their contribution to
the health issue and evaluating critical strategies to address the local health inequalities.

Determinants of mental health in Hounslow
Mental healthcare is referred as keeping the mind in peace and achieving a state where it
is less stress around the people who are suffering from mental diseases such as depression,
anxiety etc. which may have a serious impact in their overall health. There are certain
determinants of health that are considered as crucial in order to understand the topics
appropriately (Hathaliya and Tanwar, 2020). It is an important factor for maintaining the
professional and personal lives of people and an unstable mind can cause issues in these aspects.
These factors are stated below:
Childhood trauma and abuse
A serious incident or abuse which has occurred with any person may hamper his or her
mental conditions which is a specific determinant that has a negative impact on the mental health
of these individuals. This trauma leads towards instability of people to handle the mental
pressure which is created by certain incidents or activities on them.
Loneliness
It is a significant determinant which has a severe impact on the mental health of the

are not appropriate for managing mental health of these individuals properly and it has a severe
impact on them which is inappropriate for their overall development.
Bereavement
The separation of people from their loved ones is painful and sometimes leads towards
mental issues among them which are difficult to handle appropriately. This is a major factor
which creates difficulties for the person to absorb the pain of retrenchment from their closed
ones and decreases their overall capability. The bereavement is considered as one of the most
serious determinant of the mental conditions of people in the industry which reduces their ability
to stay stable.
Severe stress
The stressful and hectic schedule of people may create difficulties for them to manage
their mental peace which has a significant impact on their overall health. It has a major impact on
the stability of mind of individuals which is inappropriate for them in order to remain in a better
state of mind. It can create mental issues for people which has a negative impact on their overall
development of the mental healthcare facilities.

Health inequalities are considered as the difference in the status of people's health plays a
vita role in defining the difference between the health conditions of various individuals. The
different resources and care which are accessible to the people to lead a healthy life. The average
