INTRODUCTION
Mental health refers to the cognitive, emotional and behavioural wellbeing. It is about how
people behave, feel and think. It refers to individual emotion, psychological and social
wellbeing. To achieve better health, it is needed to take care about the mental health which is
also highly important for individual. It impacts individual about their thinking, feeling and their
behaviour. Mental health refers to the national policy which includes No Health without Mental
Health. It includes positive state of body and mind, sense of connection with people and
communities and feeling safe along with ability to cope. Mental health is highly important which
allow individual to live effectively with better quality of life. There is need to ensure about the
mental health which allow individual and large population to take care about their health. In this
essay, there is discussion about the healthcare initiative on nursing practices (Kumar and et. al.,
2021). There is also discussion about the policy regarding healthcare practice regarding mental
health. This essay also includes the description about every objective of mental health policy.
MAIN BODY
Every individual need to take care about the mental health which allow to take care about
attaining good health. This is the one in which individual should take care about their health.
during nursing practice, it is important to take care about individual mental health that should
have taken care about better healthcare service delivery. There are about one out of four people
are facing mental health issues within England where one out of six people is reporting their
experience of common mental health related issues that includes depression, anxiety and others.
This is vast problem through which country is facing issues and needed to reduce and minimize
to make better and healthy society (Pfefferbaum and et. al., 2020). To improve mental health,
there is need to ensure about taking some steps which can be effective to take control regarding
mental illness and possess good mental health. There is need to take care about individual health
that includes mental health. There are some of that healthcare initiative which has been taken to
deliver quality healthcare services. This also includes the policy “No Health without Mental
Health”. This is the policy which has different objective and have high potential to take care and
reduce the risk of mental illness within large population. There are six objectives which are
included within the policy of “No Health without Mental Health”. These six objective are
discussed further.
