Mental Health Examination
Appearance
Demitrie is a male who has worn casual clothes and his hairs are black and have medium long
hair and have average height and health and is simple with no extra efforts in changing
appearance (Rocha Neto and et.al., 2019). On the basis of appearance Demitrie appears to be of
Asian background. Demitrie is wearing spectacles and have a moustache. Physical appearance of
Demitrie suggests that he is a young adult.
Behaviour
Demitrie's behaviour during interaction with nurse is completely normal. However, he looks
little nervous and keep his hands folded. There are times when he listen to some voices and on
hearing voices he gets distracted. He is not assertive and lacks confidence during his interaction
and is also caution while saying anything. Overall, during interaction Demitrie is sober and does
hand gestures sometimes to express what he is saying.
Mood
Demitrie's mood was stressed and was not very good while he was in interaction with nurse.
However, he was not depressed neither was aggressive or despair. Demitrie was listening to what
was being asked to him and was also responding to questions being asked.
Affect
Demitrie was simply answering what was being asked to him and during complete conversation
his facial expression and body language were normal and similar. Voice tone and expression
shows normal affect.
Speech
Speech of Demitrie was brokenly and there were spaces between what was he saying. Reason
behind this can be his low confidence and his condition of listening to voices (Assadi, 2020).
Demitrie was repeating words and was not able to properly determine what to say and was mild
while speaking to nurse. In entire conversation tone of speech was same and was only speaking
to answer what was being asked to him.
Thought Form
Demitrie was able to provide specific information to nurse and was using terms that were
specific. However, listening to voices was affecting his thought form and Demitrie's thoughts
