Introduction
Mental health is defined as cognitive, emotional and behavioural
wellbeing which impact on the human body systems including feelings and
emotions. The rate of mental health illness is growing rapidly and numbers
of individuals are suffering from such kind of problems globally. The aim of
this proposed study is to evaluate the key aspects of mental health are
examine the importance of recovery-oriented practices in the area of mental
health (Slade, et al., 2014). It is very important for health care providers to
provide proper intervention programs to patients who are suffering from
mental health issues. It is identified that recovery-oriented practice may
help consumers for improving their health and reducing the impacts of
mental health illnesses. This research report will cover major three
sections, for example, recovery-oriented practice, and least restrictive
practice. It is identified that Mental Health Act 2007, is an effective law that
provided several guidelines for controlling and manage mental health
illness globally. According to the WHO, mental health refers to a state of
wellbeing where each consumer realizes his or her own ability and able to
make an effective contribution to his/her society. Therefore, this proposed
research will focus on the mental health and provide recommendations
related to the nursing interventions which may be used for promoting
personal recovery systems.
Recovery-oriented practise in mental illness
Difference between clinical recovery and personal recovery
The term clinical recovery is a concept which has emerged from the
skill of mental fitness professionals and including social functioning and rid
of symptoms. However, by comparing individual recovery with clinical
recovery it is observed that it is an idea which has emerged from and
experts of mental health illnesses. A recent study identified that personal

recovery is less effective rather than scientific recovery and individual
recovery is based on individuals and their experience but clinical recovery is
based on the experience of nurses and experts (Solli, Rolvsjord, & Borg,
2013). In terms of effectiveness, clinical recovery is more reliable but it is
very important for consumers to focus on personal recovery.
Recovery oriented language
The MHCC released and implemented the recovery-oriented language
guidance in the year 2013 for improving the recovery processes of mental
health illness. It is defined as a process which is used to convey hope and
optimize the health issues faced by the individuals and promote a culture
where the patients can monitor mental health illness in an effective manner
(Gale, & MARSHALL, 2012). Mental health recovery language is an
approach which may help the individuals for enhancing their skills in the
area of mental health and monitor mental health-related risks while
following the steps and strategies.
Such kind of process also supports companies to provide recovery-
oriented programs and service for consumers who are suffering from mental
illness and issues. According to recovery-oriented language, the rate of
mental health illness is growing quickly and many consumers are suffering
from such issues because of lack of education and proper sources.
Importance of recovery-oriented language
It plays a key character in the reduction of mental illness from the
consumers and such kind of practices may help consumers to improve their
health by reducing the risk factors that increase the mental health illness.
The principles of recovery-oriented practices ensure that mental health-
related services are provided in an effective way which supports the
recovery of consumers who are suffering from mental health illness. There
are various characteristics of this program, for example, uniqueness of the
consumers, real choices, provide better outcomes, focus on the health
