Report
AI Summary
This report details a social science research project analyzing various factors. It uses statistical methods like regression analysis to examine the relationship between gender and institutional trust (legal system, parliament, police), political party choice and political participation confidence, and overall happiness with life satisfaction and economic conditions. The report presents crosstabulations, regression models, ANOVA tables, and interpretations of significance levels, R-squared values, and correlation coefficients. Appendices provide detailed SPSS output, including crosstabulation results and regression coefficients. The findings suggest varying degrees of correlation between the variables studied, with some relationships showing statistical significance and others not.

Interpretation
(See appendix 1a,1b and 1c) From the above table it can be seen that three variables are
analyzed which are trust in police, parliament and legal system. Value of Chi square for trust in
legal system is 0.375>0.05 which means that there is no significant relationship between the
variables. In case of trust of( parliament chi square value is 0.685>0.05 and it is clear that there is
lack of significant relationship between the variables. Apart from this, other variable that is taken
in to consideration is trust on police. The level of significance is 0.747 which is greater than
0.05. On this basis it can be said that in terms of age there is no significant relationship among
the variables which are trust on police, parliament and legal system. In other words it can be said
that gender is not a factor that play any role in forming a trust among the people about the police,
parliament and legal system.

Interpretation
(See appendix d) Level of significance is 0.218<0.05 and it can be said that no significant
difference come in the people trust towards parliament. Value of R and R square is 0.029 and
0.001. This reflects that due to change in independent variable only 0.01% change come in the
dependent variable due to change in the independent variable. Value of correlation is 0.029
which means that there is no relationship between gender and variable people trust in parliament.

Interpretation

(See appendix e) Level of significance is 0.346<0.05 and thus it can be said that there is
no significant difference between the dependent and independent variable. It can be said that
independent variable which is gender is not significant predictor of trust in legal system. This
assumption is further supported by value of R and R square which are revealed by the regression
model. Value of R and R square is 0.22 and 0.00. It is clear that with change in the independent
variable 0% change comes in the dependent variable. This percentage change is negligible. On
other hand, correlation value is also moderate 0.22. Hence, it can be said that gender only to
some extent affects people trust on legal system.

Interpretation
(See appendix f) In present case level of significance is 0.352>0.05 and it reflects that
there is no significant difference between dependent and independent variable. This means that
gender is not affecting a level of trust that people have on police. Value of R and R square is
0.022 and 0.00. This means that with alteration in value of independent variable only 0% change
takes place in the dependent variable. Correlation value is also very low 0.022. Hence, it is clear
that gender is not affecting a people trust level on police.
