INTRODUCTION
People management is very necessary for any organization. Effective people
management plays a vital role in the proper management and development of an
organization. It create an effective work culture in the company and also helps in
improving work efficiency of a workers and employees. Managing people give their full
assistance in the effectiveness of an organization. They also provide a effective work
culture for the employees with their great leadership quality and management attributes.
Managing people assist in the increment of a performances of the people in the
company. They also assist the managers and leaders to achieve success and positive
result and make sure that the all staffs positively contributes in the organizations
activities. NHS is a national health services in the United Kingdom, it is a healthcare
system of publicly funded. It is the biggest health care system in the whole world. This
report will include the various strategic people management areas such as management
and leadership, training and development, talent management and also their theoretical
models in this three areas. This report will also highlight the application of this area in
the current national health services and the priorities and role of the national health
services management and the functions of human resource in supporting management.

- Contingency theory of leadership and management
This theory is totally based on then contingencies such as unique circumstances.
It is general sense of view that the system dynamic and context are a important aspects
of a situation of a leader. This theory plays a vital role in the motivation of a thinking
about a specific aspect of a leader and requires more focus on this. In the current
national health services scenario the contingency model of a leadership and
management is plays an very effective role (Stark., 2015). In the national health service
the effectiveness of the leader based on their leadership style and the current situation
in which they work. This theory says that there is no great and effective style of a
leadership. The leaders of the national health services plays a effective role when the
situation of the organization fits with their leadership. In this theory the least preferred
co-worker scale is very important. It helps the organization to find the suitable style of a

give their best efforts to complete the tasks and activities. If the low LPC score than it
means leader complete their tasks and activities by focusing on positional power. Task
oriented leader in the NHS is most impressive when positional power of them are high

National heath service management plays an essential role in supporting
management and leadership approaches. Management of the company assist the
organization by their planning, executing, monitoring, analysing and forecasting
activities. Management of the national health services indulged in the procedure of
guiding the maintenance, development and allocation and distribution of resources to
achieve the company's goals and objectives in a very effective manner. They plays a
necessary role in the leadership and management of a company and impact their
positive effects on their performances. They carrying out and developing the
management process and they are responsible for all the activities of a business (Finell,
Seppälä and Suoninen, E., 2018). Management also focus on the necessary
requirement of an organization from the internal and external environment. Today, the
changing behaviour of a business the manager of national health service enhance their
ability of adaptability and flexibility in their managerial process. NHS management helps
in the planning, leading, controlling and organizing the activities and operations of the
organization.

operations, the mangers use relevant data and information that are directly connected
with the organizational environment. Organizational environment are in two types-
Internal environment and External environment. External environment involves General
and Industry environment.

raises, bonus, awarding certificates and promotions in its training and development
