Fundamentals of Team Structure
The US Army provides many basic organizational methods in order to
manage the organizational structure of the respective teams to help them
in continuous research and development. The independent operations
taken and researched under the technical laboratories. Thus the teams
built to manage the organizational structure and the foundational blocks
of the US Army is built using a hierarchical structure around the teams
to provide substantial focus on the communication purposes.

Fundamentals of Team Structure
Team structure has been driven by many challenges in the history of
contributions of The US Army. United States have been an activist in
the order to from a developed team structure in the US Army from
WWII.

The Stage Model of Team Development
In order to build a team, there needs to have a model of planning
regarding the development of the team. The stages of development of
the starts with the fives stages of team development. The first four
stages were first introduced by Bruce Wayne Tuckman in 1965. Thus
the stage model is called as “Tuckman Stages”. Here the stage model
will be discussed in order to develop the idea of stage model of team
development. The five stages of the team development are as follows -

The Stage Model of Team Development
• Norming: The process of started working together as a team is called
as Norming. In this stage the respective team members mainly starts
working together as a team, rather than focussing on the specific needs
of their individual needs. The team leader guides them in order to
fulfil an assignment by distributing the objective among the team
members to work on that particular thing and solve the issue together.
In this process, the team leader gets to know the areas that needs
correction and the respective areas the team is strong enough to solve
issues and conflicts.

The Stages in the Life Cycle of the Project
Communication plays a very important part in the defence system of a
country like United States. The equipments needed for the security of
the country needs a major upgradation of the communication
equipments related to the defence ministry. The communication
technology demands networked computers, new innovation in the
radio wave technologies and out and out advancement of telephonic
and Information Technologies. The defence system needs be equipped
with a mode of technology that can result in simplifying the systems
and make the operations go more smoothly as possible.

The Stages in the Life Cycle of the Project
Nowadays the passing time has gave birth to many new dimensions of
communicative technologies and in order to develop the defence
systems the US Army needs to upgrade their old communicative
technologies.

The Team Leadership at each Stage of Team
Development
Leadership helps to influence the team performance of an organization.
The leadership and the dynamics of the leadership structure helps to
focus on the projects the team needs to work on. The leader’s main job
is to handle the job and distribute it to the team members adequately
according to their needs.
