Mini projects contribution the development of employability
It is very important for a student to develop skills and abilities that will help in in getting good
employability. For achieving this, there are several ways of enhancing the skills which are
required by managers of various organisations (Suleman, 2018). Managers of different
companies need the employees to be skilful as well as they must know how to make quick and
responsible decisions which will help in providing positive outcomes. Mini project is helpful in
exploring and strengthening the understanding of various fundamentals by converting the
theoretical concepts into practical application. Mini projects acts as guide for them to develop
large projects in their future career. A successful student is one who is able to make most out of
the mini projects. All employees are not skilful and have the ability to work well in the
company. They must undergo various training sessions and learning classes to develop and
enhance their skills to fill the gap of skills (O’Connor, and Bodicoat, 2017). Technological
knowledge is the most important aspect which is required in students for doing their work
properly and showcasing their employability skills. Real world learning experience is helpful for
students to enhance and develop their employability skills. Social media, e- portfolios, mobile
devices, etc. These are helpful for developing lifelong learning as well as employability skills in
students. E-portfolios enables a student to gain feedback from various audiences and reflecting
upon the ongoing development and skill learning (Belwal, Priyadarshi, and Al Fazari, 2017).
Different type of skills like communication skills, technological skills, interpersonal skills,
analytical skills, etc. These are required by every employee to have a successful career. Mini
projects helped a student in in the following manner-
 Selection of project topic- this is a huge as well as an essential task of the mini project.
There is necessity of understanding of clear idea about the strength of topic chosen for
doing the project. A student must select the topic which is is relevant for value addition to
future technology.
 Research - online research is the best option that is available for various students to
complete their projects effectively. These websites helps in developing skills and abilities
of an individual by learning from various experts and their suggestions for a successful
employability skill.
Subject expert suggestions - in this aspect, mini projects provide subject experts which help in
interacting with the selected topic (Howell, and Martinez, 2017). Various discussion forums are

skill as well as technological skills.
 Planning - when there is clear Idea regarding the research topic, the next step is to
prepare a proper plan which includes resource availability, experimentation and the
fabrication with all other colleagues. It is important to take responsibilities and work
properly for achieving aims and objective of research.
Execution of plan - materials are developed in order to experiment and fabricate the scheduled
time (Zuhairi, Ibrahim, and Belayutham, 2018). These are important to provide accurate and
effective results for doing proper research.
 Presentation- in context of this aspect, there is development of presentation which helps
in developing skills which a manager requires in an employee to achieve business
objectives in specified time frame.
