INTRODUCTION
Honey and Mumford model was developed by Peter Honey and Alan Mumford. These
are related to Kolb's learning styles and consists of four learning styles including Activist,
theorist, Pragmatist and Reflector. These are preferred by individuals and used for maximising
personal learning of an individual (Heryani, and Ramadani, 2019). The following report will
include reflection of a student pursuing Masters of Business studies. The four types of learning
styles are used for demonstrating own experience. This report includes different ways of learning
and managing the work in effective manner.
MAIN BODY
Learning style analysis
I want to become smart and get better opportunities in every field. This is possible by
learning good and positive things everyday. I am pursuing business studies from the university
and here I have studied many things that will help me to pursue good work in future. It is
essential that I am working on the learning process and skills and increase knowledge regarding
learning theories (LESTARI, 2019). I am a student who is pursuing Masters in business
administration and I have analysed this model for knowing what will be the best way for
enhancing my learning. This has increased confidence and thinking skills of mine. There are
different types of learning styles of different individuals. These are explained below -
Activist - These are the individuals who learn things by doing on own. These people are happy
to experiment things and attain results. There are some challenges and new experiences which
this person is fond of (Stander, Grimmer, and Brink, 2019). They do think before acting. These
people do not learn well from teaching, reading and analysing the data. Various puzzles, role
play, competitions, problem solving and brainstorming activities help in becoming an activist
learner.
Theorist - This individual is one who understands theory behind each and every action. This
person is more into models and theories rather than practical experience. He believes in
analysing hypothesis and learning from instructions. These people do not have their own point of
view. There are various theories of life which these people analyse and use them in their life.
Pragmatist - This type of learner is one who needs to be able to see what is present in real life
and how to use it in managing the daily life activities (Mohammed, and Abdou, 2019). There is

need to manage the abstract concepts and invent new theories in such type of learning. These
people do not believe in theories and they just analyse what they are experiencing. They learn
from their own experience and apply this in their own life.
Reflector - These people learn through observation and reflect their results. These people take
information from different perspective and managing the action plan. These individuals are not
good at leading activities and run with preparation.
Self analysis
I have analysed that I am a pragmatist learner. I manage to analyse my actions and adopt
new learning (Papanikolaou, and Boubouka, 2020). I have analysed that by experimenting
various facts, I develop my own theories. I acknowledge different abstracts useful for enhancing
knowledge regarding new ways of controlling and handling business. When the objectives are
unclear and unidentified then it is not easy to manage the work. This is important for me to
analyse my skills and abilities. I use my experience in managing different issues of my personal
as well as professional life. I have participated in various business webinars and shows that and
grabbed knowledge about business facts (Sayassatov, and Cho, 2020). These have helped to
develop own perspective about business and use these concepts for conducting business
operations.
Conclusion
From the above discussion, it is concluded that the learning styles of individuals are
different. Each and every person has his own way of learning things and adapting them in his
daily life activities. Self analysis is important as it leads to know about different skills and
abilities one is having and how he is using them to attain personal and professional goals. It is
evaluated that me personal goals can be attained effectively when I am a good learner who is
always positive towards every aspects of life. I learn from my mistakes and work hard for
achieving success.
