Task 1A) Ethics is essential for people to have apeaceful social and business environment.There is always the option to choosebetween right and wrong but prioritising therightful activities more than anything can berecognised as ethics (Bardill et al., 2018).The citizens of the country have to followethics in order to lead a life withoutbreaking rules set by the government orelse certain punishment will be provided toensure an ethical society in the country.Implementing an ethical environment in theworking place has been the most effectivestrategy for organisations and companiesfor increasing the performance ofemployees and also for enhancing therevenue of the company. The factors thatcan influence ethics are – Individual Factors – Individual factorsplay a major role in terms of building ethicalbehaviour within an individual. The family influence andlife experiences factor can also make theethical segment influenced severely.Therefore, living in a peaceful country andalso growing up in a family of honest andgood people will influence an individual todevelop ethics within. Organisational Factors – The segmentswhich enable ethical behaviour in theorganisation can be considered to call asthe organisational factors that influenceethics. The organisational factors areimportant for conducting the organisationalbusiness ethically. Therefore, it can beassumed that the employees need to followthe ethics code if the organisation has anethical environment and the organisationwill have an ethical environment forincreasing the trade value (Markham et al.,2018). This is how ethics can be influencedby organisational factors. Legal Interpretation – The government ofthe country is responsible for making lawsfor the citizen’s within and for makingpeace, the government needs to implementcertain rules that will prevent chaos andmake peace in the country. This will onlybe possible when the law will be createdbased on implementing an ethicalenvironment in the society so if a particularcitizen has to live in the country legally thenthat citizen needs to follow the law andrestrict themselves from doing unethicalactivities (Saltelli, 2020). This is how it canbe said that ethical behaviour is influencedby legal interpretations. B) For increasing the productivity of thecompany or organisational business,workplace ethics is necessary. Workplaceethics is about implementing an ethicalenvironment in the company whichinfluences the employees for doing theethical behaviour for doing well in thecompany. There are beneficial sides ofworkplace ethics that can help thecompany to make a profitable business.Employee performance can be increasedby using workplace ethics. Job satisfactioncan be achieved by creating equality in theworking place and also by reducing genderdiscrimination as work ethics (Sennett,2018). The organisational citizenship canbe achieved by making the products whichare environment friendly and also good forthe public health standard and this willreflect the fact of implementing the workethics in the production place of thecompany. For example, the TeslaCompany is using workplace ethics in thecompany which is helping the company toincrease its brand value and also forconducting its business profitably.
