INTRODUCTION
Business environment is a dynamic and changing environment, hence it cannot perform
its activities in isolation, it has to deal with various different factors. Understanding and leading
prepares individuals to deal with the problems and issues and implementing the changes
adequately which leads the organisation to retain a competitive advantage in the marketplace.
To incorporate the changes in the environment , the organisation follows different strategies and
theories that enables the organisation to optimistically allocate its resources and increase their
overall profitability and productivity (Moyer and Sun, 2021). This report is based on Morrisons,
which is the fourth largest supermarket chain in United Kingdom. It was founded in 1889 by
William Morrisons and headquarter is in Bradford, West Yorkshire, England. This report
includes the impact of change on organisation strategy and operations. It also includes the ways
in which internal and external; drivers of change affect decision making and behaviour of
individual and team behaviour. It also determines different leadership approaches to deal with
the changes that are existing in order to attain a good market share.

organisation that can increase the productivity of an organisation. The impact of changes can be

efficiency and profitability of an organisation and helps in accomplishment of their goals and
objectives and vice versa. The changes can be internal factors and external factors, to implement
these changes adequately an organisation can use different strategies and tools that can drive
growth and success in the long run. With reference to Morrisons, Changes are an important for
company in the form of bringing innovations and upgradation within the operations and
functioning and lead the company to hold a competitive advantage in the marketplace (Du

In order to understand the impact of changes adequately, a differentiation is being done within
