Introduction
In this competitive environment every individual wants to become independent
and that too in financial terms. Financial in-dependency will be achieved when the
person will be working or having any job. The main aim of doing work is to earn good
money but other than that the other aim is to learn something new(Grills, 2020).
Going outside helps in learning new skills and develops information which will be
important for the individual in their future. Not just this but working in outside
environment people develops their new relations and from this only individuals
develops new ideas. This report will cover different factors which helps the
employees to get motivation and positive and negative factors which employees
experience with their strategies.
What does Motivation Mean?
Motivation is the process which includes some guidance, initiation and this is the only
thing which gives the motivation to every person to work. For doing any work it is
important for the person to identify the need as this is the only way which will help
them in doing work.
Maslow Need Hierarchy model-
Physiological needs- Physiological needs are related with those need which
involves food, shelter, water which is required by every individual for their
living. This is the most important thing which needs to be satisfied by the
person.
Safety needs- Safety needs are related to those in which individual needs
safety in regard with financial, family security and other things. They will only
move to further step when such things will get satisfied(Solvang, 2018).
Social needs- When an individual is working outside then they will require
good friendship, connection with people which will come from society itself.
They will move to further step when they will be getting and developing good
relations in the society.
Esteem needs- Esteem needs are related with dignity, achievement which is
required by every person. Every individual wants dignity in their life which is
important for every person.

Introduction
World of work is basically a concept that states that the work is performed in the various
markets and sectors that involves various efforts from the employees. The world of work consists
of various employees and various factors that have an impact over the performance of the
employees as well as the organization. The report is produced in order to discuss the employee
attitude towards the work of the organization. The report aims to highlight various factors such as
negative and positive factors that motivate the employees in accordance with their job roles
(Farley, Coyne and D’Cruz, 2021).
What does Motivation Mean?
Motivation is referred to the process that aims to initiate, guide and maintain the goal
oriented behaviors. Motivation is considered as a process that comprises of emotional, biological,
cognitive and social forces that activate behavior of a person. Motivation is referred to the desire
to achieve a goal.
Maslow's hierarchy theory
Maslow's hierarchy theory was introduced by Maslow which states that motivation is
required in order to achieve some specific needs of an individual while some of the needs take
precedence over the others. The theory has identified the needs into five basic categories. The
categories are discussed below-
Physiological needs- Physiological needs is referred to the basic necessities that are to be
fulfilled in order to survive. The basic needs that comprise of physiological needs are food,
water, shelter and clothing (Gomez, Newell and Vannini, 2020).
