Subject: Application for Studying Masters in Political Science in VUB
Respected Sir/ Madam,
It is my desire to become a professor of political science and in order to do so it is very
important to pursue masters in political science. In this context, I want to apply for master’s
degree in Political Science in VUB in upcoming academic year.
I have completed my bachelor degree in 2014 in International Studies and Diplomacy and
now I am planning for doing my further studies in your university. After that I want to pursue
my Phd in Political science so that I can be a professor of this subject. As VUB is one of the
most prestigious university in the world and thus it can be stated that it will help me to shine
in my life. The knowledge that I will acquire from this course will also help me in my future
life as well. Moreover, presence of students from different countries of this world will also
help me to gain knowledge of different countries of this world and it will help me to explore
the political scenarios of different countries. During my BA program in International Studies
and Diplomacy, I grew interests in the international politics and that is the reason I have
wanted to study political science in this university. So, pursuing masters from an international
university will help me to grow in my career as well as I can have the exposure of different
cultures while interacting with my classmates from different countries of world. After
gaining knowledge in political science, I will return to my country and then I can use those
knowledge in improving the political condition of my country as well. Furthermore, the
courses like public policy analysis, democracy and citizenship, migration policies will help

me to look into the insights of migratory issues and other factors of world politics. Therefore,
my experience of working with the NGOs will also help me to work with the needy people of
my country as I have planned to provide free education to all the people living below the
poverty level of the society.
Therefore, I want to grab the opportunity to study in VUB and I hope during my study days I
will find more layers of this subject.
