effectiveness of project management methodologies in completion of the music event. The study
will also discuss the risk management plan and ways in which the plan will assist into risk
mitigation. Apart from this, importance of stakeholder’s analysis and quality maintenance also
will be elaborated.
TASK 1
Project verifiable and effectualness of project management methodology
The project is related to the development of the music concert in order to allow people to
enjoy the activity. The primary reason behind conducting this music concert event is to allow
people through which they can enjoy and make themselves refreshed. Project management
strategies plays a vital role in order to complete the whole project in most effectual manner. The
major project management methodologies consist of Prince 2, waterfall and agile methodology
that can make the project manager able to fulfil the project requirements and complete it within
the stipulated time duration along with in successful manner (Abyad, 2018).
Waterfall: It is the type of project management approach which is completely focused
towards linear progression from very beginning to the end of the project. It is kind of
sequential methodology according to which it has been identified that project manager
required to perform at next stage only after completion of the previous step in complete
manner. The candidate or manager is unable to move backward or towards previous
stage once switch towards next phase. The advantages of utilizing this specific approach
is that it is easier to understand and reduces waste within the operation. While in context
of disadvantages, it has been evaluated that it has no scope of discovery and refinement
at the time of development of product and not at all suitable for the projects where
client’s requirements change constantly.
Agile: It is the most effectual methodology or approach that assist manager in order to
complete or manage the project with the help of break them into several easier phases.
With the help of this specific approach, the manager is able to deliver appropriate value
