Abstract
Music is considered to be method which helps individuals in releasing stress and anxiety. Music
have a way to release hormone from brain which causes stress and depression. It is considered to
be beneficial for impact on health and wellbeing as well on stress reducing effects. The study
will focus on finding the factors of music and what and how music benefits individuals. The
interview was conducted upon which the finding of this study will be based. The study is
significant as it can help in analysing up-to which extent music can help students to release stress
and anxiety in their daily life.

INTRODUCTION
Listening to music is one of the important therapy and movement that is used for relieving
the stress. As stress is present and experienced at every extent varied from person to person like a
medical practitioner would have high level of stress while making it compared with the
individual who is pursuing a normal job (de Witte, and et.al. 2020). As stress would have
negative impact towards the health so various aspects and strategies would be taken in order to
reduce the stress and its impact. This is also assisted with the music which is one of the major
element in reducing the stress.
Various studies show that wellbeing is the state of mind and human body that is related
with the healthy, comfortable and happy. As per the researches of MARCS institute for Brain,
Behaviour and Development found that music play an important role in increasing the memory,
retention as well as raise the learning capabilities. Music not only release the stress but it also
plays an important role in triggering the emotion, memories and thoughts that will lead to play an
important role in mental health.
Various studies also show that music play an important role in relieving stress because it
is directly linked with the mood, emotion, brain and human actions. Music helps reducing the
level of stress and improves the focus and concentration. With the perspective of music an
individual would become stress free and this will be assisted with the concept of stress removal
(Baltazar, and et.al. 2019). This is further associated with the aspect of mental operation and
assisting an individual to be stress free.
There are various studies that shows the application of music in respect to wellbeing.
With the evidences it is being suggested that the use of music will help the patients in recovering
the stress and anxiety (Storrs, 2017). As per the study it is found that the clinicians use music
therapy during and before the major surgeries and medical procedures. Listening to music is
clearly associated with the concept that it will make ease for the patient in bearing pain. This is
also being proved from the studies conducted by Storrs (2017) which shows that the patients who
listen music before, during and after the surgery would feel less pain and stress while making it
compared with those who go with normal surgery procedures.
The research statistics also showed that the concept of music therapy play an important
role in surgical and oncology patients which is evidenced with the use of music in cerebral,
coronary angiography. Use of music is counted as one of the emerging trend in respect to
