7 Question 4 What are the types of communication system? SAMPLE ANSWER There exist generally 5 types of communication system. They include 1.The Optical Communication System The optical communication system depends on the light as the medium of communication. In the mentioned communication system the transmitter converts the information into an optical signal and finally the signal is found to reach the receipting. 2.The Radio Communication System When it comes to the Radio communication system, the system is found to flow with the help of a radio carrier wave. The radio communication system is found to work with the help of a transmitter as well as a receiver both equipped with an antenna 3.The Duplex Communication System In Duplex communication system, the two equipments have the potential to communicate with each other in both the direction at the same time and for this property the communication system is named Duplex. The Duplex communication system is used in communication equipments like Telephones 4.The Half Duplex Communication system When it comes to the half duplex communication system, in this system, both the two parities at the
8 two end of the communication system are unable to communicate simultaneously. The sender needs to stop sending signal and then only the receptor will be able to respond. A walkie talkie is found to be working in a half duplex system. 5.The Tactical communication System Another mode of communication is referred to the tactical mode of communication. The basicwork of the transducerincludes converting one form of energy into another form that can be electrical in nature. Communication channel is the physical medium that is used for transmission of data signals. The work of the receiver machine is to reproduce the message signal in the form of the electrical from the noised as well as distorted signal. The last stage of the mentioned communication

16 Step 4 – Trialling assessment tools You are required to engage relevant personnel to trail your assessment tool. This should be your supervising TAE qualified staff member or at least another colleague who has knowledge in the vocational area of the unit chosen. Have them trial the tool to validate the content and applicability (you could ask them to complete the review checklist from above or to complete the tool as a student would to test useability). Document the feedback you have received relating to the trail conducted. You can either summarise the feedback in the box below or screenshot evidence of feedback received (i.e.) email response. Comments: Rachel Foxwho is my TAE qualified educator has trailed the mentioned assessment tool. He had taken the test in order to understand the experience that will be gained by the student while providing the student. Rachel, after giving the test felt that the collection instrument are set out well and has assisted the RPL student in an effective manner. However as per her opinion, it would have been more beneficial if the roles and responsibilities of the employees in order to ensure health and safety in the workplace is included in the
17 questionnaire. Amended assessment plans If the assessment plan was amended based on feedback received, please specify into the following space the specific changes that were made. If no changes were required based on feedback from the candidate, please state “no changes were required.”. On the basis of the review provided by Rachel, a question associated with the rules and responsibilities of an organization when it comes to maintaining the communication equipments has been provided.
