identify the external changes and challenges of the organization the following PESTLE
ANALYSIS has been done.
Political factors- The organization has to face many problems for working in a
community. Although the company is getting enough funds from out sources. Yet it has
to face some problems. The houses which are built inside the premises of trust has to get
consent before they want to change if they don't follow this procedure they have to pay
the compensation. For any further planning the trust has to consult with planning
authorities. It is necessary to take the permission from authorities. The building repairing
has to be done under inspection of government authorities.

If the government increases the amount of tax it will automatically affect the costing of
the organization. The business policies which has been made by the trustees is mandatory
to be discussed with the government authorities which means the trust is not free to take
any personal decision. Government policy effect the small as well as big things

workers of the company to negotiate with them. The trust has started import and export of

that the economic factors of the trust are totally dependent on the government.
Social factor- The society is growing day by day and for that it is upgrading in many
factors. Social sector is one of them. With the increasing population the demand of house
food and place is also increasing. For commencing better livelihood ancient culture and
historic buildings are getting less focused. The biggest upcoming fear for National trust is
the need of space. With the growing population of the world the urge of vacant place is
also increasing which can resulted in the decrease of conserved places. It may be possible
that natural resources like parks may be demolished in order to made new houses.
Technological factors- Technology plays an important role in the development of the
society. With the development of time it is necessary to rethink and develop new things.
The trust is also upgrading it's a skill to match up with the upgraded society. They have
to use new products and opted new techniques. They have to start using new methods like
digital platform. They started using new materials which is cost efficient and easy to use.
They started considering new ideas for conservation and renovation techniques.
Legal factors- The trust has to face many legal challenges to be associated with the
government. With the course of time the trust has been getting bounded by the
government for amendment of its rules and regulations. Under the building and
conservation act 1990 the government has right to modify and reconstruct the buildings

Environmental factors- The people of the trust has to face a new challenge every day.
They have to follow many a relevant rules of the government to safeguard the natural
sources and wildlife. The company although work for the maintenance and preservation
of old monuments and natural resources but it is getting difficult for them to follow this
path as the higher side of the community are busy in achieving their bread and butter.
There seems to be less interested in the preservation of their ancient history.
Recommendations:-
It has been observed that the national trust face been facing lot of problems in
order to survive. Firstly it has to discuss all the planning with government
authorities which is bounding them. It is recommended to rectify this by making a
rule book which they can follow and by doing so the visit of the authorities can be
stopped.
It has also been observed that there is in the taxes and wages affects the price of
the trust. This problem can be solved by fixing and a certain amount as the trust it
is already getting lot of donations so there is no need to change the prices
according to the increase or decrease in the Government taxes.
The company is working so hard for the welfare of flora and fauna but with the
increase in population they have the risk of demolishing the heritage places. This
problem can only be solved by controlling population.
The trust is adopting digital platform which is very good for upcoming society.
The problem faced by them is being a less computer savvy. For this it is
recommended to recruit young and dynamic staff. By following such measures
National trust can solve many problem faced by them.
The regular visits of government authorities and change of prices with
government rates are indeed problematic thing for the trust. It is recommended to
change the building and conservation act 1990 has to be redefined and modified
in order to make new acts.
