The right to life of the individual is the inalienable fundamental right. It is regarded as the
most significant fundamental, inalienable, human, transcendental liberty. Therefore logically and
naturally, the entitlement required enhanced safeguards. It indicates the importance of the
existence of human beings for that purpose (Merrill, 2015). It is extensively termed as the
highest basic rights. Thus every individual liberty to live and have security that is required to
protect themselves from danger. Human life is considered as beautiful and precious. Thus one
should provide esteem towards the human dignity of the individual. Therefore it is universally
accepted as well as the basis of the moral vision for the community (Breazeale, 2019). After the
Second World War, the global community focus on human dignity as the centralized factor for
safeguarding human beings. The conceptual aspect of the dignity of human beings was founded
in 1948 as the basic concept of the Universal Declaration of human rights.
According to the preamble of the Universal Declaration of human rights, the appreciation
of the inherent dignity as well as the inalienable and equal liberty of all the associates of the
human family is the basis of justice, freedom, and also peace in the world. Thus human dignity
as referred at the inception of Article 1 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, 1948. The
UDHR facilitates the preliminary functioning out for development and also safeguarding the
right to life along with the dignity in various statutory laws of the nations (Francioni, (2016). It is
accepted and settled principle that every individual has inalienable liberty to live along with
dignity without facing any form of discriminatory practices. Therefore they are authorized to

assert equal esteem from the nation as well as from other individuals. It is one of the fundamental
obligations of each nation to safeguard the basic natural right to human dignity in addition to that
apply schemes targeting welfare for the purpose of enhancing the lives of the individual along
with dignity (Sousa, 2016). Thus the right to life of the individual is not only connected with the
dignity of human beings; however, it also draws focus to the most significant matter of honour
killing.
Human dignity is correlated with the life of the individual, and it has statutory
jurisprudential worth as the basic rights. Thus dignity indicates the presentation of personal
merits and honour of the individual. The conception of human dignity is connected with the
safeguarding against violation and exploitation of inalienable rights. The conception of the right
to life is significant as well as valuable basic liberty of all individuals. It is a fact that life can be
described as philosophically and theoretically. The “life” can be described as the condition that
demarcates plants and animals from the inorganic matter involving the capability for
reproduction, growth, response, functional conduct as well as continual change the former death.
Every nation has its own regulation to safeguard the life and dignity of human beings. Thus the
right to life indicates the importance if the existence of human beings for this reason that is
extensively termed as the highest natural rights.
