INTRODUCTION The trend of using social media are increasing day by day which has serious negative impact on the mental health of the people and also the number of diseases on the health of people. This report is based on the concept of mental health issues due to excessive use of social media platforms. TASK The development of smartphones is the main reason for the popularity of social media platforms in the market. There are large number of peoples are connected with the Instagram and other platforms and serving for much time. Most of the people has spend their maximum time on the social media which are very harmful for their healths (Tamplin, McLean and Paxton, 2018). There are different type of diseases are happened due to excessive use of social media platforms such as headache, stress, anxiety and many more. These diseases are very negative not only for their mental health but also negative for their physical health in the market. The mental health of the individual is one of the most important of their life because it controls the whole body of the individual. There are different types negatives impacts are present and the brief discussion related to the same are given below: Inadequacy of life:There are different types of manipulated social media platforms are present which influence the behaviour of people innegative aspect. There are many pages are running ion these platforms which has provided negative impact on the health of the people and also makes them more hatred. Fear of missing out:these social media platforms has spread hatred in the environment which has made some people to missed their actual life and reflection. There are number of posts are spread across the internet which has negative impact on the minds of the people (Berryman, Ferguson and Negy, 2018). Isolation:There are many peoples are present in the world which has used social media platforms for long time which develops a feeling to be loneliness in the person which is related to theanxiety of the people. There are many people are present whose mind enables them to active on social media and becomes lonely. Depression and anxiety:It is one of the most biggest negative impact of the use of social media on the minds of the users. Itdevelops high level of stress and anxiety in the personality of the
users whichmakes them more dominant. The high level of anxiety are not favourable for the health of the individual because it negatively impacts on the goals and missions of the individual. CONCLUSION It is concluded from this report that the excessive use of social media platforms are not favourable for the health of users. It is recommanded to the users that they provide only few time to these social media platforms so that their health can be promotes.
