The purpose of this report is to analyse the network requirements of Hotel Barraquilla Plaza (HBP) and based on a questionnaire prepare a redesign of the hotel’s network using a three layer hierarchical networking model. First the network requirements are explained after which a questionnaire is presented which is used to obtain information from users of the network. Then report explains three layer hierarchical networking model and lays out the benefits. Thereafter the present design and redesign of present network is given and explained briefly. Then the report talks about the specific network equipment used by the hotel’s network following which the report ends with concluding notes.
