Empire influenced trade

over the 1200-1450 time
period.
Influences on Trade Influences on Communication
The Mongols revitalized the interregional trade
between Asia. Middle East, Africa as well as Europe.
They build a system of structure which continued and
grade the main trade routes.
Interregional cultural exchange occurred during that
time. Islamic oriented knowledge made its way to China
and the paper from the it was possible that the
revolution in the communication was powered by the
Gutenberg printing press. The Mongol was the one who

Khan
Ghengis Khan came from the nomadic tribe of the

He is the founder of the Great Khan and the
Emperor of the Mongol Empire which went onto
become one of the largest contiguous empire . He
conquered most of the Asia in most of the Silk

Road which came to power. This in turn allowed for
the great economic development for the subject as
the crime was taken care by the Mongol Empire.
He also set the foundation for the effective mail
delivery system.
Batu Batu wads the Grandson of Genghis Khan and son
of Jochi.
He was the founder of the Golden Horde which was
the division of the Mongol Empire. He conquered
small kingdoms and was forced to pay tributes.
Hulegu He was the grandson of the Ghenghis Khan. He
conquered most of the western Asia. His kingdom
was known as Il Khante which stretched from
Byzantium to Oxus.
Kublai
Khan
He was the grandson of the Genghis Khan. He
established the Yuan Dynasty. He rebuilt the
capital of Zhondu which was earlier destroyed by
the Mughals. He introduced the policy of religious
tolerance inspired from loyalty in the formerly
oppressed group. He brought prosperity to China.

increase in the political stability
during that period which influenced
the growth of trade during that period.
The opening of this trade route caused
travelers to exchange and also
promoted the Buddhism in the Kushan
region kingdom of China. Genghis
Khan controlled Silk Route during that
period.
The spread of Islam, the port in
the Calicut become extensive
with foreign merchants. The

Southeast Asia dominated.

merchants. The empire Mali
increased the commerce.

mathematics, ceramics were usally
transferred from the Silk Road
Lateen Sails was invented by
the Arab travelers which catch
winds, Stern Rader was
invented by Chinese sailors to
give the ship more stability and
Astrolabe which improved the
Muslim navigation.
Use of the caravan to facilitate
the commerce. Pack animals
